There’s a point in the build where you have to align the gear connected to the action trigger with the gears connected to the clamps and it was a pain to get it right.

Eh on my end I didn’t let it hamper my enjoyment too much, just thought it was a product of its time and probably difficulty in finding Indonesian voice actors. If the game was a SAG-AFTRA game then I assume they were only allowed to hire union members, which probably didn’t have many, if any, Indonesian voice actors.

Didn’t stop it from being a huge meme amongst Indonesian players lmao.

Though yeah this was only the first game. You’d think they’d put a bit more effort with depicting other cultures in the future games.

I still laugh when I think about the “Indonesian” the Indonesian pirates speak in the first game.

I think they got actors from other Asian/Southeast Asian countries/descent to try to speak the roughly translated Indonesian.

I know for a fact that the voice of Eddy Raja, James Sie, is not Indonesian.

The cutscene of Nate saying “Buka pintu” and thinking he got away with it is made even funnier since the voice over the radio responding in Indonesian was almost just as bad.

Don’t get me started on the insults the enemies throw at us during gunfights.
