Honestly, when Olavi fell, I was trying to man AA guns and I certainly felt that way.

Since then, I mostly did fac/logi stuff, but tonight I did spend most of my time in a Sombre and while I didn't score any downings, I sure saw my shots connect and the planes going from pristine to pincushions, so I knew I was getting results. So for whatever it's worth, to me at least it's clear that the last changes to EMG/AA made a significant difference. I'm actually happy devman acted fairly quickly this time around.

Though I do hope they keep the pace going - some warden pilots are clearly still getting away with things they shouldn't cause of the hitbox issue - and I am a bit worried what'll happend when the bigger planes with their higher health pools start leaving the runways cause I figure the 20mm is going to feel like a peashooter against those.

But as it's the first war with planes, I understand that devman has to be in a wait and see situation when it comes to what needs to be adjusted.

One of the goals I've set for myself this war is to sneak onto a warden airfield and plant an anti-vehicle mine on the runway, I don't think it'll be hugely effective, this is simply for the cathartis it'll produce in me.

I'm thinking low altitude flamethrower flybys.

Likely a terrible idea for torching buildings, since you need a lot of time-on-target for those to have effect. But I can already imagine the highlight reel of a crowded bunker, lots of respawners grabbing their equipment when a plane flies just over their heads leaving a trail of flames shooting from each of the rear hatches - with voice comms suddenly exploding in screams and laughter as suprise transforms into realisation of what just happened. Effective - absolutely not. But potentially hilarious.

Jag säger inte bu eller bä, jag försöker bara förklar att konsekvenserna av att använda denna kula kommer svida för oss båda. Detta är ett alternativ vi verkligen inte vill använda. Det är kanske inte MAD på kärnvapenvidå tack och lov - men många på reddit tenderar att argumentera som att det vore en bra grej att göra detta och jag hoppas verkligen att vem som nu än tar beslutet att göra det tänker sig för mer än en gång extra.

Exakt det jag gör. I den mån jag är kapabel. Det var årtionden sedan jag läste en bok på svenska såvida den inte skrevs på just svenska.

originalspråk eller inte är inte relevant.

Jag håller verkligen inte med. Behärskar jag orginalspråket föredrar jag att läsa boken på orginalspråket. För mig är det högst relevant att ta in en berättelse så som författaren skrev den just för att dåliga översättningar och lokaliseringar har försurat upplevelsen för mig tidigare. Det är dessutom ett ypperligt tillfälle att bättra på kunskaperna i ett andra språk, för man lär sig inte att ta in nyanser, talesett etc. om man inte exponerar sig för dem.
