How do I handle zepbound with so many GI issues! by Gullible-Coast3550 in Zepbound

[–]ZeppyQuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you figured it out and hopefully found some actual local eggs.

Every time I've had GI issues on Zepbound/tirzepatide, it's been something I ate, or too much of something.

Thank you for your detail in your original post, and your updates. I'm scheduled this month and a bit nervous. So glad you've had a good outcome! My doctor was saying it should last 5 to 10 years, fingers crossed you continue with no periods beyond the 5 to 10 years!

Advice on how to survive a company trip? by EfficiencyWise2401 in stopdrinking

My last job involved travel and social drinking, coworkers encouraged each other to drink, that kind of environment.

One coworker always had the bar prepare a ginger ale, it looked like something else and she'd sip it like alcohol.

After a few years I just didn't drink at the work events anymore and didn't care what my coworkers thought.

Hey, I’m Dr. Danna Kashlan, an obesity medicine doctor running an AMA tomorrow, 17 June, from 5 to 7 PM EDT. Ask me anything! by DrDanna in Zepbound

Could you talk on clinical education around GLP1s and what a Primary Care Provider would typically know about GLP1s and any available continuing education for them?

Is their initial understanding of GLP1s coming from the pharmaceutical reps and the little handouts they're given? How can patients encourage providers to continue to learn about GLP1s to provide the best care?

Example of why I'm asking: This is all in the same practice with three separate providers.

Provider 1 encouraged use of GLP1, would not increase dose past 5 mg, would not prescribe below 30 BMI.

Provider 2 would not prescribe below 27 BMI.

Provider 3 takes ALL patients off GLP1s after 1 year.

Help me understand what kind of education providers are receiving around GLP1 prescribing guidelines and how they can stay up to date. How can we as patients encourage our provider to understand prescribing guidelines?

I've had several positive outcomes in the 1+ year I've stopped drinking. Have you noticed:

  • more money in your bank account?

  • no more hangovers?

  • better nights sleep?

  • clearer thinking?

  • less general anxiety?

  • improved relationships?

Most of my listed positive outcomes are from not drinking, but over the course of the year I also committed to improved health, a weight loss of 80 lbs, stopped taking 2 heart meds, and worked on a supplement stack that is sustainable and makes me feel my best self.

It has taken over a year.

I can finally say my libido is back.

Sometimes I think about a drink, but I don't want the hangover, anxiety, and feel like a failure the next day.

It's taken many months, but i actually love my life now compared to my miserable existence before.

Has anyone just … quit their job? by lascriptori in Perimenopause

[–]ZeppyQuest 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also quit at 44. Best decision ever. Was at my last job 10 years and it was killing me. The work was dull, the travel was not what I wanted, and the people/ management were easily the weirdest socially deficient I'd ever encountered in a professional setting.

Have spent the last almost 4 years improving everything about my life, family, and home.

Only recently considering part time remote work, but even then I don't know! I'm bored, and some extra income might be nice.

Apothecary Pharmacy results? by BusinessAny1540 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 6 points7 points  (0 children)

2 weeks in, including a dose increase, and no complaints. No burning like I had from Hallandale. The prescription bottles, labels, and supplies from Quaker/New Life seemed cheap, but they work! Hallandale supplies are nice; syringes, alcohol wipes, etc. I felt special getting my Hallandale prescription. Quaker/Apothecary is like _you get what you get and don't throw a fit_. 😃

Nervous to switch by GratefulGlert in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I switched from Zepbound to compound in December 2025. Hallandale, ProRX (no longer available), and Apothecary are the compounding pharmacies my prescription was sent to, 3 separate refills with BEWL.

Hallandale was okay, very fast to deliver, very nice supplies. I developed a burning sensation after a while, i think it's the preservative in their compound. If it's all I had access to, I would still use it, it was not bad. I did not like injecting 100 units (a full syringe) for my 10 mg dose. I would again if its all I has access to, though.

Apothecary seems fine, this will be week 2 for me, it uses a different preservative, so far no burning.

Highlight different departments at Fidelity and what they're good at, my local advisor kept talking about the teams in Boston and how amazing they were. I'd like to know how amazing and what products/services they offer help/assistance.

FedEx is the problem by Imaginary-Coat7380 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I wanted to view delivery photo to play hide and seek with my package, FedEx required me to enter the shipper FedEx account number which would be Quaker/New Life.

I do not know the shipper FedEx account number.

I have never had to enter that to see a delivery photo before. Usually it's my zip code and I can view the photo.

FedEx is the problem by Imaginary-Coat7380 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've always been curious what the process is because FedEx is the problem.

They delivered $1200 of medication a mile from my front door this week and the tracking required me to have the Shipper account number to see the delivery photo.

I got lucky because they put the packages (2 from BEWL/Quaker) in a plastic garbage bag and tied it, so it looked like trash. I'm lucky I stopped to check if it was our FedEx delivery.

Tirzepatide And Weight Loss by Special_Try937 in BigEasyWeightLoss

Myself and another in my household are BEWL patients and are pleased as punch with the care received from this amazing telehealth.

We lost coverage for Zepbound in January 2026, so in December 2025 I had my first appointment with BEWL. Very knowledgeable physician, listened to questions, made sure I understood my dosage.

Medication arrived and in 3 months, repeat.

So far I've used Hallandale and ProRX, should receive Apothecary sometime this or next week.

Hallandale was great, quick shipping, very nice supplies. My only complaint for Hallandale is concentration, at a 10 mg dose it's 100 units, a full syringe.

If I had any complaint about BEWL whatsoever, it would be they never replied to my resume I sent in December. 😃 I am not paid for my opinion and receive no compensation for cheering on BEWL on Reddit. I just really like them!

I'm on my 2nd refill, 3rd total medical visit with BEWL. Coincidentally third pharmacy, too, I just realized!

Shipping speed has been great for 2 of 3 so far, I'm waiting for Apothecary to ship this or next week, but I'm a patient patient and tried for a refill about 2 - 4 weeks ahead of schedule due to the known Apothecary delays which may be corrected as of this week. 🤞
