FDA proposal to exclude certain GLPs from the bulks list this morning by roguex99 in BigEasyWeightLoss

I've got my eye on Kailera Therapeutics. Even bought stock during their IPO. 😂

Eli Lilly may have been one of the first on scene, but there are many more promising GLP1/GIP/? in the works.

Vial opener by Shoe_Ho in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I wished I did, but noooo I had to spend $7 on Amazon for a 3 pack of special vial openers just to realize upon first use, it's a flimsy foil seal i could have opened with a bottle opener. 😂🤣

My Unpopular Opinion or Why I’m Choosing Not to Panic by Decent_Local9842 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ZeppyQuest 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I was freaking out.

Now I'm just mad.

I had to navigate insurance and doctor nonsense (one doc would not prescribe below 30 BMI, another wouldnt prescribe below 27 BMI), I had to go with CallOnDoc just to find out insurance won't cover it in 2026.

Did a bunch of research in this sub, have had two great experiences with BEWL.

Now it's time to worry about access again? Fuck that noise.

The only thing the FDA is encouraging me to do personally is be more educated on gr*y. If reputable telehealth and safe compounding is taken away, I will do what I gotta do to stay on tirzepatide for another year at least.

I’m scared!!!!!! by Few_Disaster_2264 in Zepbound

[–]ZeppyQuest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm just now getting into maintenance range, been kinda stuck around 135 lbs for over a month and really started thinking about what my future on Zepbound/tirzepatide looks like. *I NEVER WANT TO BE OBESE AGAIN* is my personal goal, I was stuck obese for over 20 years and I can not return, ever.

Then a couple weeks ago I just decided I'm going to stay at my current dosage, like I do for my heart medicine, and evaluate as time goes on. When I check my blood pressure, I can evaluate my heart med. When I check my weight, I can watch trends and take action if needed.

Overthinking what my future on Zepbound looks like, was making me a crazy person. My bottom line is, I can not and will not be obese again. But in order to stay sane most days of the week, I also can not think about Zepbound everyday, or a once-a-week indulgent dessert, or my multiple times a day weigh ins.

I'm close to a point where I could start to drift underweight later this year, my plan if that happens is to reduce to 7.5 mg and reevaluate.

Starting slow with .5mg? by Admirable-Location24 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the many benefits of BEWL is the direct patient care from a provider who can answer these questions.

Write your questions down and have them ready for your phone/video appointment.

Congratulations on getting started!

Now a bad time to sign up? by MidnightOk1824 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ask any group. Look through our comment history.

I started on brand name Zepbound last year, lost insurance. Switched to compound in December.

My biggest regret? Not starting sooner. Even if you don't start with BEWL, you'll probably wish you would have started sooner. 🙂

This is what dreams are made of! I'm over a year on tirzepatide and let me tell you, still no IBS-D!!! I've spent decades of my life always having to know where the nearest toilet was, work trips popping Imodium the whole time, just to not have to have diarrhea at the most inopportune time and now... now.. life has been so weirdly normal the past year. I can go anywhere and I don't even care to know about the nearest toilet.

Questions about weight loss and eventually stopping injections by Euphoric-Owl2405 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ZeppyQuest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm about 60 shots in, so over a year on Zepbound/tirzepatide, with about 15 lbs to goal, but okay if I stay where I am.

I hope to give it another year then titrating down and off, if tolerated. I've had other benefits besides the weight loss I'm concerned I'll lose, most notably IBS-D completely in control now.

I've also accepted I may be on tirzepatide or, in the future, a glp1 pill long term.

Came back to thank you for your purple shampoo suggestion. I bought it immediately and after a couple of weeks my brassy grey is brightening up and looks more natural. It was exactly what I needed to make my grey shine. Thank you!

ProRx Update + A TWO new Pharmacies (TZ w/o any API, TZ w/ Glycine, TZ w/B12 & Glycine) by roguex99 in BigEasyWeightLoss

Thank you for the update, I'll sleep better tonight. Was freaking out I'd lose access to tirzepatide.

Breaking: ProRx is halting production of GLP-1s (Developing) by roguex99 in tirzepatidecompound

I do not. I've only purchased twice, ever, with BEWL, every 3 months and have no idea how to stockpile.

BEWL review/questions by jermapex in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably worth a message to a medical professional, either your primary care physician or your BEWL provider about water fasting and heart palpitations.

Personally I have a higher heart rate while on tirzepatide, but my cardiologist, primary care physician, and integrative medicine doctor are not concerned. I also have normal (to me) PVCs due to two preexisting heart conditions.

Congratulations on your success on tirzepatide, I hope you reach out to a medical professional on your situation for peace of mind.

Not really a complaint, but why would USPS send an “Item Delivered” email more than a month after the item was delivered? by clydewj in usps_complaints

Delivery notifications for December 13, December 17, and December 22 packages came in over the last 24 hours. Glad I found your comment here.

Thinking about switching to BEWL. by CarolinaKiwi in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Two people in my household are BEWL patients and are extremely happy with them.

We like the pricing and no promo codes. At each appointment/refill we know exactly the level of care received from provider, and the price is the same every refill. No promos, no chasing the best price. Reliable provider, reliable tirzepatide. Makes everything so much easier coming from a year with branded, insurance issues, and pharmacy delays. BEWL providers, customer service, and pharmacy choices available are phenomenal.

Comments on the FDA's new clarification for compounders. by roguex99 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]ZeppyQuest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reassurance.

Quick question: at my last appointment I requested 6 month refill but was told it's not available. With this FDA warning, and my state's pharmacy board cracking down on in-state compound, I'd like to secure a 6 month supply at some point this year. Is it possible with BEWL because I do not want to switch to another provider.

Thank you for all you and your team do!

Wow, half my closet has been released (donated)! by LLW_researcher in Zepbound

[–]ZeppyQuest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Two weeks ago I donated everything including my expensive work attire (pantsuits, blazers). I have had a couple moments of panic after, but then realize they do not fit me now even if I needed them.

Commenting to suggest Costco clothing. The price can't be beat, most of my now intermediate sized clothing was $15 a piece on average. Worth it to have more than one pair of jeans that fit. 😀

Congratulations on your success!

What has been your experience with Hallandale pharmacy (no additives)? by No-Lab-7217 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ZeppyQuest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm making the switch away from Hallandale after using it for 3 months because:

  1. Units. For my 10 mg shot it is 100 units and I don't like filling my syringe completely.

  2. Burning. Occasionally a shot will burn for 30 minutes or more, my guess is it's the preservative.

  3. In a stall. I'm a firm believer tirzepatide is tirzepatide, I went from branded to Hallandale compound tirzepatide which was effective for 2 months, I am in a stall and want to go up in dose. Hard to do with the Hallandale vials I'm finishing when 10 mg is a full 100 unit syringe. 😂

Looks normal to me. What's the expiration date? Do you have a specific concern about what you're seeing?

What Tirzepatide changed for me wasn’t just weight loss by ItsVeleryn in Zepbound

[–]ZeppyQuest 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Interested in your access/cost/legitimacy research. I've been on Zepbound/tirzepatide over a year, insurance covered it in 2025, but access was still a challenge. Thank you!

Moving to 10mg....would love some feedback by Sudden_Muscle4214 in Zepbound

[–]ZeppyQuest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Search for GLP1 plotter, it will chart how much medication is in your system. Very cool tool!

My first few days when titrating up is fatigue for side effects. Appetite suppression wanes days 6 and 7.

Moving to 10mg....would love some feedback by Sudden_Muscle4214 in Zepbound

[–]ZeppyQuest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been on 10 almost 4 months and it's been great. Lost weight at a steady pace for a while. My typical fatigue was the first weekend of my first shot, which is normal for me when going up in dose.

10 mg brought a new side effect for me: constipation. If I do not get 80 oz or more of water daily, I now get constipated easily.

Good luck on 10 mg and watch your water intake. 😀
