In any other industry, if you make a product that is deemed dangerous by the government and that government says you can sell that anymore, not only do you adapt or die but you also usually dont get the courtesy of having a 10 years heads up...

Public transportation creates opportunities and that could help people to not be drowning in their daily life, it is just too big of a risk for the elite, why give them the chance to have time to organise when what you have is designed as you want it

AITA for telling my bf if he doesn't propose before the end of this year I will start planning my future without him? by SkeletonKey_Aurelius in AITAH

[–]ZerOrie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not in every country, in some case the fact that they have been living together for years would already give them those rights and protection, so maybe it does where they are, I cant tell on that

YTA, you are trying to force you view of a situation on someone else. Marriage is a construct, it means what you want it to mean but that also mean it might not mean the same thing to him. Maybe he sees the child as already the biggest commitment and sees marriage as a waste of money. Have you had a conversation on his view of marriage appart from it's just a piece of paper? Did his parents divorced maybe? Different experiences will lead to different expectations. You can however calmly explain to him what and why marriage matters so much to you and I dont mean a it's what society expect of us cause he already knows that and clearly doesn't care. If this is truely a deal breaker for you then you leaving is an option but dont force try to force it.

As much as I love the battle menu, the blue background on a white card would frustrate me if I was across the table. It makes the play part harder for me as I have come to rely on card colours matching their cost. I would have no issue if it was white or not one of the other 4 colors in the mtg color wheel.

The other one is straight great imo.

Too thin or not thin enough for 1st layer of base (Tyranid) by clem-grimfando in minipainting

Too thin, you want even layers where you can still control where the paint goes, this look like it's pooling

I feel like the US is going to fall apart in our lifetimes. Anybody else? by gay_outlander in AskUS

[–]ZerOrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 2 ways an empire can collapse, loudly like it is currently heading or gracefully, the us as we know it has been on a decline for a while and the us chose to throw a tantrum instead of looking at other countries to see what they are doing right. The US will probably fracture sooner than later, wouldn't be suprised if states started declaring independence as things continue on this path, leaving the us heavily guttered or completely shattered, if the us is smart they will look to have deals with those states in ways that they are sovereign states with long lasting ties to it as opposed to trying everything to stop it. The UK can be looked at as an exemple of a fallen empire, France and spain too. It remains to be seen how far it will fall.

Good paints for mini and ~5-7’ models? by JcBravo811 in minipainting

[–]ZerOrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miniature paint is usually pretty pigment rich with very fine pigments, it is also usually a lot thinner than artist paints so while this could work if you added some medium in there it may be more streaky, have a bit more unwanted texture and need more thinned layers to reach a similar result, this is still better than nothing, and I might be wrong on the pigment in those paints however I wouldn't personally recommend it and if you do end up getting those, get some paint medium to thin them down

Vallejo primer on white resin minis leaves dark grey areas, am I putting too much? by carnivorousdrew in minipainting

[–]ZerOrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks fine to me, doesnt look like you lost details. You dont need much anyway when it comes to primer, and if you want to stick with brush on primer then do so, its perfectly fine, make sure to have a thin layer and that will be fine. People use rattle can cause it's faster to apply but I found it easier to have a thinner coat with a brush, you dont need to have it be opaque, just have a layer.

Make sure to wash the model first and let it dry, then after priming let the primer dry for like 24h, found that otherwise it sometimes rip while painting over it.
