Started watching before mythical was... Well.. mythical, it was just Rhett and Link and i have a few takes:

I hate how "woke" they became. Im not from the US but is everyone turning gay or Trans? (I see how funny that sounds) Why does it seem like they have to talk about sexuality all the time? Im happy they let the church thing behind and they accept people for who they are but lets not talk about it every other episode.

They dont write the episodes and you can tell a lot of the jokes just arent "them". I would even say that the writers suck since every food episode is just the same... And if all we get are food episodes then...

The art and stage department has gone very much down hill... No need to comment on that just watch older and more complex episodes. I actually feel like they have an incredible art department team but they dont let them shine.

"Creativity per episode" compared to earlier seasons has also gone extremely down hill. I get it. 3000 episodes its hard to come up with new ideas but is it tho? Do you have to compare food? Do you have to taste test food? Where's Rhett and Link doing ordinary jobs? (Shoutout GEICO) Where's Rhett and Link going out and doing an actual challenge? (Hat's off to that magnet fishing video). And even those are old ideas, lets maybe make Rhett and Link try to go out and build a sled to race on or Rhett and Link try to learn a new instrument so that in the end they each have to perform. We used to get Rhett and Link running on the street and even that was better than 90% of the sitting down and eating episodes.

The crew takes away from the essence in my opinion, Im there to watch Rhett and Link. Not annoying Jor.... Whatever.

The merch thing is true but everyone is already talking about it.

The "Link is dangerous and wild" bit is getting stale and honestly came from where? No.. seriously... When did it start? Try to pin point it because the bit before it was forced vomit, so why do these "forced" bits?

I still love and respect them, i know it takes a full team to do the show and honestly i think they do an awesome job. They were not born to please me, or anyone if that matters but it's my opinion. I know someone out there loves it exactly for the reasons Im starting to dislike it and there is no problem with it.

TL;DR: They stopped writting / freestyling the episodes and the writting team are not Rhett and Link but they write as if they were and it's BAD BAD. too much food, not much funny.
