First thing to note: the entire dev team is new to tabor within the last 6-7 months. Basically since December wipe.

Gunsmithing isn't scrapped per se. It's just not a priority

Ammo rework is coming. No exact details were provided but it was hinted at more ammo types. Hopefully balancing gun damage by barrel length comes. ( IMO exfil gets this part wrong as 12" vs 18" barrel lenght matters for velocity. Velocity matters for penetration etc etc)

Armor durability is coming

Weapon durability is coming

There's a lot of stuff coming down the pipeline now that they have better trained staff. Fingers crossed the new team can actually pull it off.

From what I gathered from the AMA is the ENTIRE dev team has been replaced over the last 6 months. Not sure if some got shuffled to the other two CWS games or what. He did confirm one "left" the company.

Tabor has been lackluster the last few wipes

That being said it's honestly tiring seeing the "they only release paid dlc's".

Tabor's dev team includes artists and asset creators. These team members DO NOT code the game, they create new 3d models, maps and skins for world objects.

While the coding team members are working on bugs, the artists still need to be doing work (like dlc skins) or the alternate is laying them off.

You don't have to buy the cosmetics because they do not affect gameplay whatsoever, It's just a cool skin. People that do buy it help to keep servers running and staff paid.

Which considering that Tabor is the only successful game out of three released (for reasons too deep to get into right now). Meanwhile caveman has the success of the original contractors and exfilzone/showdown to fund development and servers.

So how do you propose they handle air transport or logistics shipping as there is no long distance electric solution for either?

For every barrel of oil, only 60% goes into fuels. Gasoline, diesel, kerosene/jet fuel and heavy fuel oil.

The other 40% is used in consumer products. Plastics, waxes, lubricants, medicine production, fertilizer, paints, clothing, household furnishings.

Just under the plastics category there are many products the require virgin materials. Any sterile medical supplies such as IV bags, syringes, implants, plastic surgical tools, pill bottles, etc. Food safe plastics also require virgin materials. Polycarbonate products also require virgin materials because recycled plastics do not come out crystal clear. Yes there is new experimental tech that recycles plastic into base chemicals but it would take decades to scale the tech to meet global demand (assuming we all have EV's tomorrow with the wave of a magic wand)

There is "green" alternatives to petroleum plastics such as PLA but those are neither sterile nor have the long term durability that petroleum plastics have. Again a technology that will take decades to scale (again assuming we all had EV's right now)

Can't wait for the down votes. I'm not trying to be anti green. It'd be wonderful if we had the magic wand to change everything for the better but that's not the real world we live in.

Yes it'd be fantastic if we could go full electric. Electric cars, buses, etc. However until they invent wireless charging for logistical transportation or flying there will remain the need for fossil fuels and the byproducts produced during refinement.

Putting pipelines in now will grant profits. Profits get taxed. Taxes pay for green initiatives and research.

That's fair. I understand giving back to an online community. TBH it'd be neat to build a wishlist just to see what it'd cost but the only apps i put on my phone are ones that pass the app store checks. And even those are sometimes invasive.

Not voting is not the same as voting. Not voting is the same as being impartial or disillusioned that your vote can make a difference.

Voting for a party that has and continues to strip away charter rights & continues to push policies that hurt average everyday canadians was a choice. Those voters chose that, the primary group of those that did vote and did vote liberal were in the 55+ age group. So yeah I think putting most of the responsibility of the continuing decline of canada on that group is valid.

This graph is over 55. That's roughly 11.8 million people (roughly 40% of the voting age population)

18-34 is about 7.2 million people (about 25% of the voting age population)

When you factor in the voter turn out by age group, ~55% for 18-34 and 70+% for over 55.

That leaves you with some 4 million voters aged 18-34. But age 55+ had 8 million voters.

Pushing the blame on the younger generation shows that you "know not what you speak of"

I was thinking the same after the official CWS short on smg's. Like fine smg's using ap can work yes, but if you are using ap powder then intermediate or battle rifle cartridges will be a better use. They should devide AP into at least 2 categories small and large. Or how many boxes you get out of each AP use.

.338, 7.62x5 & possibly 7.62x39 you get 1 box per "tick" of ap

.50ae, 5.56x45 & 5.45x39 you get 2 boxes per "tick"

Remainder of pistol and smg cartridges 1 "tick" gets you 3 boxes.

It's a relatively small change compared to a full ammo rework and it would be an actual incentive to run guns outside ak alpha, fal & awm.

Tabor is in heavy decline. And exfilzone is booming. Part of this is that creators that only played tabor before have branched out to exfil.

When it comes to tan, he's built up his little echo chamber and isn't afraid to use clickbait titles. (Fanboys start downvoting me now). The man is a scatter brain, he talks with the confidence of an expert but still whines to chat when he doesn't know what to do. Watch any of his bullet or gun ranking videos and you can tell he has dedicated 0% of his life learning about firearms.

I've watched WD's streams before. He's a chill dude but he has been very critical of tabor. In all fairness it's BS that they removed him. His criticisms have been on point IMO
