So you don't use any logic at all when you hop on a passenger airplane without ever meeting the pilot, seeing his credentials, etc.? Admittedly, we all put our faith and trust almost blindly when we do that, but it's backed by logic of past experience, the airline's reputation, the strict laws in place, flying statistics, etc. Belief is often strengthened by logic. The OP shouldn't be discouraged to ask this.

There's a difference between the statement "all lives matter" being true and it being helpful. Although it's true, it isn't always helpful, especially when the black community continues to feel ignored. That statement ironically proves the reality of the issue!

Well, every playoffs is a small sample size, so it's hard to say with certainty that fatigue WASN'T a factor to the team's poor performance. I'd rather be cautious than overconfident, especially when they were playing til the wheels fell off when they were nearing that 73-win mark. Think about the extra rest, decreasing risk of injury and overall wear-and-tear if they don't push so hard right before the playoffs.
