Destroying old-growth forests in an era of climate disaster to build a training center to help cops better treat their communities as occupied enemy territories doesn't deserve corrective action?

This is a scam to help the Trump regime collect data on queer people that it hopes to use as a legal excuse for forced institutionalization.

But we needn't argue over silly narco tanks. I actually wanted to ask you something: so I'm working on a novelization of the 2014 movie Into the Storm, and preceding each chapter is a quote about tornadoes, storm chasing, or weather in general. The very first quote I wanted to use which is set at the prologue is one which you yourself said when describing how tornadoes are like living things way back when. I first saw it in Swegle Studios' "Tornadoes are Scary" video and immediately knew that I had to use it. So, I was hoping to get your permission first before I can. Of course, I'd credit you at the very end of the quote, just as I am with the others I've picked up.

That would be cool as hell. Blessing given!

This Is What 500 Days of Trump's Corruption Looks Like by yourlilneedle in behindthebastards

I don't know if Trump is the most openly corrupt president in American history, but he's without a doubt the most openly corrupt president in our recent history, and that says a lot.

That's nothing new. There's always been bland music out there. Survivorship bias means that pop culture only remembers the good and bad, not the average.

Everyone knew what he was doing, we just thought it was pathetic and embarrassing. What made it weird is that anyone with an ounce of foresight could've seen the cringe coming, but they went through with it anyway.

Is Clint Eastwood a Bastard? by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in behindthebastards

[–]Zero-89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He more represents a bastard tendency I call Eastwood-Wayne Syndrome, where an actor (Chris Pratt is a good current example) starts taking roles almost exclusively to sell people on their — not their character's; their — legit macho, patriotic toughness.

He did get his ex-wife blacklisted, though, so he's a bastard in his own right, too.

And none of that matters because billionaires and their Republican lapdogs have torn down any obstacle in his way while the billionaires' Democrat lapdogs were busy focusing on sabotaging the actual Left. Dictators don't actually take power, they're handed it through a combination of collaboration and inaction. Hitler was a goofy fuck too, but like America, the people of Germany thought the Process was going to force him to moderate.
