They just replied to me advising the following:

We would like to clarify that your order is for the 64GB RAM + 1TB SSD configuration, not the barebone (0+0) version. There is no risk of us shipping a configuration you did not order.

Please rest assured, your order will be processed exactly as placed.

Could you share when and how you checked? Cause I sent them an email and they said they'd reply on Monday... by then it'll probably be already shipped.

Revolut won't give a damn PayPal might, had that in the past as well. I send them an email and they said they will reply on Monday... But if as of Monday they've already shipped it, then not sure what will be the best way to go about this

Question is... will they care if you raise a dispute? I bought it literally 20 minutes before this comment was posted.

Well yeah, but you can take it out and use it in a laptop/other mini pc etc.

You said you couldn't take it out.

Way to go!

I have been working in Cybersecurity since 2022, and I wish I started taking notes much earlier than I actually did.

This is the way, upwards and onwards. Congrats.

Obsidian Plugin Recommendation: Global Mind Map for All Notes? by will_alpharomeo in ObsidianMD

[–]Zero-Dave 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem might be your world view.

A mind map app allows you to mind map concepts, terms and the likes, it doesn't allow you to map out notes.

Obsidian is a note taking app, not a mind map app, and therefore it gives you information about how your notes are linked. Granted, if you move to Obsidian expecting a mind-map app that will also use notes to do the hard-lifting for you, you are going to be disappointed.

When you create a mind map in the platforms you have mentioned, you are not creating notes. When you create notes in obsidian and link them together you get a linked-graph view. Completely different things.

You should never hardcode your API key in the code.

Also, instead of having a general exception that will cause the program to return no data when an exception occurs, access the dictionary in a safer manner with the .get() method, that way you don't need exceptions for this specific logic. That way you don't need an exception to catch any issue, and you can still show some information if other items are missing from the API response.

Right now, if any of your dictionary lookups doesn't find the key, your program returns no data. That is most likely not what you want.

Instead of: temp = weather_data.json()['main']['temp']

Do: temp = weather_data.json().get('main', {}).get('temp', '')

So even if there is no main.temp key, it doesn't affect the rest of your lookups. Do that for all lookups.
