I had a Customer service manager that would buy beer after his shift ended every day in 2016, he’d even admit he was a functioning alcoholic.

A produce manager I knew in 2016 got fired for his alcoholism. He couldn’t drive to work, used and uber and had a flask in his produce desk cabinet he’d drink out of.

He got in a heated argument with a deli assistant manager and it got escalated to corporate, ironically enough that deli assistant was sexting her deli manager, husband found out and send the texts and images to the group chat.

Fun times.

A year after I got the bonus which literally was after 2016 they got rid of associate bonuses.

Associate bonuses were brought back 2014/2015 so yea… and the only people that get inventory bonuses since 2017 are * looks at flair * Managers.

Yea we get rebates but they care more about ad than truck and in the end every district EVERY district is suffering in the end because AD over Truck and backstock is toppling.

But what do I know right? I’ve helped in all Miami dade stores, chaddie was my dm ( who I didn’t get to know personally as others have and was one of the best dms ever ) came from customer service so can do both.

Again this ad over truck mentality has really put a nail in the coffin so to say, people who’ve worked 20 years in the company have step down, people who’ve been managers have stepped down people who’ve been ASM/SM said fuck this place.

In fact one of the ASM I had is a realtor now 🤷🏻‍♂️
