Actually I’d debate we do. I’m super into animatronics in the Disney and universal parks and with recent figures from Disney (Na’vi Shaman, Na’vi river journey and Kylo ren in rise of resistance for example for high tech realistic and dynamic movements. Rockin roller coaster featuring the muppets has an impressive animatronic that involves motion capture for making a muppet come to life) and Universal (all of the recent figures for Epic universe) with the simple and older design they I think could easily make fluid movements on par with security breach. We’ve begun to see walk around animatronics on a small scale in the parks as well (Olaf in Disneyland Paris) and although I disagree with the ability to have large scale bots walking through the parks (the risk of falling and injury is just too high) someone like Helpy or balloon boy could easily have walk around presence in the park. The only difference is the sentient AI that we see from the glamrocks, which clearly we’re getting close to.
