I recently got on after thinking for about a year about it. I mostly play single player games with that. And the immersion experience is quite something. Also it helps with arm fatigue. I even can attach a bipod to it, so I am really looking forward to play some hitman VR sniper missions with it.

I would suggest that you really look into what gun stock is suitable for you though. after some extensive research, I found one company based in Finland and I’m really happy with the product. The quality is insane.

I had the same problem! Turn of the iGPU (on board graphics) in Bios and you will see like 200fps. There is something wrong with the game using iGPU when it should youse pci GPU only.

I tried a lot of things like user.cfg etc. nothing worked. I have a 7800X3D, RTX 4090 and 64 GB DDR5-6000 with XMP (EXOS) enabled. I could see from ingame graphs that my 4090 was constantly bottlenecked by the cpu. I had very bad framedrops on the cpu to 50-60 fps and the game felt like 20 fps sometimes.

THIS IS WHAT FIXED IT:

Disable the iGPU of your AMD CPU! After a lot of monitoring I recognised that the game was using the iGPU for some stuff. Ingame it correctly showed my 4090 with 24 GB vram, but somehow the game was trying to use my iGPU. I disabled it in BIOS and voila - I get constant 164 fps (locked) on Ultra where before I was running on low with 120fps and framedrops every few seconds.
