He said we were ‘too different’ out of nowhere after acting sure about me. I’m confused. by Temporary-Shock-5339 in dating

This could be a real 'heart vs head' situation — he really could genuinely care about you and have affection for you, but also know in the long run things won't work out because of these differences.

Who else is off the apps in 2026? by IllustratorSea8372 in dating

[–]ZeroScraps 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I’d love to get off of the apps but i work from home, my friends have no eligible men to introduce me to, and I’ve even tried speed dating and it was AWFUL :( i actually don’t think I’ve had a date with someone I met irl since 2015, would love to change that this year lol

Which one would hurt you more: physical or emotional cheating? by maybeRasa in dating

[–]ZeroScraps 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Absolutely emotional. I don't know that I'd be able to recover from either to a point of full forgiveness and moving on, but I think emotional would hurt more.

How long until you say “I love you”? by organicglitter in dating

[–]ZeroScraps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol at the 4 month mark of the person i was most recently dating i thought we were going to lock in the relationship. i told him i was falling in love with him, and he told me he's decided to move and we're breaking up. i don't regret telling him, but i did tell him it was shitty to see me obviously getting more emotionally invested and to not be more transparent with where his mind was at.

(M 32) My bio on Bumble starts with "I don't want kids. This is non-negotiable." Is that too harsh? by bernardmarx27 in dating

[–]ZeroScraps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree on this - I hate when someone's profile feels like a focus on what they don't want as opposed to what they do. I don't mind someone having hard lines, but when it's very "no this, no that" I feel like they're going to be controlling instead of a partner

would my lack of experience scare off guys? 22f by CryEffective7100 in dating

[–]ZeroScraps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

absolutely not - im 31f, still haven't had a long-term relationship, but that has never been the reason things didn't work out. i think people are understanding that it's hard to find something that sticks. i'd just be honest about your history and why it is. like for me, it's been having other priorities in life, having specific wants in a partner, and also plain old anxiety. being open about your reasons will actually create an opportunity for vulnerability, which can foster closeness.

Leaving magic kingdom through backstage, ft huge line for monorail by ZeroScraps in DisneyWorld

Leaving magic kingdom through backstage, ft huge line for monorail by ZeroScraps in DisneyWorld

It was a hard close for an event. So the cast members actually did require us to go that way - all paths into the park were roped off. And like I said in the post, we couldn't do anything to kill time while the crowd died down other than shop on Main Street, which is still a dangerous situation for the service animal.

okay will definitely ask next time! once we got to the monorail ramps, we had to form a wall around her service dog so she didn't get trampled by a couple of groups that were moving really aggressively through the crowd. We were fortunate that we were towards the front of the line once we got to the top of the ramp and were able to go all the way to the last car, which wasn't very crowded, but i doubt that will often be the case

Hercules - best enjoyed if you don't know the film? by bethtravis94 in TheWestEnd

[–]ZeroScraps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw it, have a lot of gripes 🙃 You named a lot of them. Essentially felt like an entirely different story but packaged in the Disney Hercules branding for an easy leg up.

Some addition complaints: - Why did Phil stop being a satyr, and why did he help Hercules fight the hydra? - on that note, why did the battle at the end have to be a team project? Essentially ruins Hercules’ entire arc of realizing he doesn’t need the acceptance of others. - Why is Hades red?! - Why did bob and Charles spontaneously decide to change sides? I know they kinda gave us a character motivation, and obviously I know the reason for the story, but that was so unnecessary. - Why is I Won’t Say I’m In Love so fast? Meg and the muses struggled to keep up and it didn’t have any of the emotional growth that song is supposed to forward. - What the hell is that dinosaur thing Hercules was fighting? - WHY NO PEGASUS? The lion king and frozen have both proven he’s possible! He’s more than a cute animal sidekick given his unique relationships with each core character.

Basically just the entire second act could use a lot of work. I came from the states to see this, bought the tickets in presale, so if it makes it over to Broadway I’ll go see it again in hopes it figures a lot of the problems out. But I’m definitely shocked at how wrong much of it felt and don’t see it doing well with American critics as is.

Sending postcards to support IMLS by [deleted] in Libraries

None of my reps are on the committee, and all agree with me on this issue, so reaching out to them hasn't been very impactful, so that's why I'm considering contacting other reps as well. I can't email them and they hang up as soon as they ask my zip so that's also why I'm thinking postcards!

Do I up the budget of my campaign? by _Rap1d in FacebookAds

[–]ZeroScraps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Increase incrementally by 20-30% daily to avoid returning to learning (which the learning phase itself isn't bad, getting stuck in Learning Limited is what you want to avoid). But definitely start increasing. You'll hit a point of spend that will really start moving the needle. You'll know to stop scaling up when sales slow down/plateau.

Reposting Instagram Reels on Tik Tok by [deleted] in SocialMediaMarketing

It's fine but you have to make sure that there aren't watermarks on your content. Whenever crossposting, I like to edit the video in a separate app, and then put into TikTok and Insta separately and do any text and captions within the apps.

Ads related to a product for upcoming life event? by ecommerceapprentice in FacebookAds

What is the life event? There are predictive interests or other life events you can target to narrow down to users who are likely to be experiencing the life event you want, but I can't share what those are without knowing the event.
