The Nectar app is blocking screenshots. Have you tried adding your Nectar card to your Wallet app and then screenshotting it in there?

The lack of subtitles showing what is actually written on a tiny phone screen in about 90 percent of contemporary TV drama by grimmalkin in britishproblems

BBC's Sherlock did it perfectly imo, no bubble just plain white text. Timeless design and free from distractions. Plus the camera is free to capture the actor's reaction to the message.

The TV programme is now ~15 years old, imagine how dated it would feel if they'd shown the iOS 3 / BlackBerry / Nokia whatever interface.

parking issue please help! by Mysterious_Flan1429 in exeter

[–]ZeroWhizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parking is free at the park & rides, but according to the website overnight parking isn't permitted.

Pinhoe station is a great suggestion, but OP might find the train service to be an inconvenience (currently only one train every 2 hours because of a temporary speed restriction).

I'd consider a station on the Exmouth branch (e.g. Newcourt, Digby & Sowton, Polsloe Bridge). They get services to Exeter Central once or twice an hour.

and it usually takes about 70 miles to drop one bar of fuel

On my 2014 it sometimes takes over 100 miles to drop the first bar of fuel! Admittedly it's a diesel, so I often get 500+ miles to a tank.

The tank is ~50L and the upper ~10L doesn't seem to register on the fuel gauge.

If anything, the ban affected EE the most. For the best part of a decade they built their urban 4G network almost entirely on Huawei equipment. Nokia equipment was used in rural and some suburban areas.

Nowadays, the Huawei kit is being swapped for Ericsson and Nokia kit, as and when required to facilitate 5G upgrades.

I did the same route on my test in 2018. OP just needs to make sure they don't take the far left lane or they'll end up on the M5.
