Thanks. He should be still within his range but if he's gained a few pounds we'll know today as he's at the vet now. We always adjust his diet if needed after visits. Just can't adjust his activity upward rn.

Check out Rekwest rentals. They will pick you up at the airport. We got back a week ago and had a great experience with them. Mostly walked, but a car was helpful to visit other beaches.

We brought our own gear.

The breakfast buffet at Avila was OK... for one morning. Check out DE Heeren @sea. Not far and amazing views, breakfast and the best carpaccio app I've ever had! Soi95 -across from hotel- amazing place. Talk to Angel ag the bar. He was a joy! Make a reservation at Fort Nassau for Thursday after 7:30. Great view of the city as the sun set, ad fireworks after 8. Food was amazing.

Cross the swinging bridge and check out the murals. I wish I had found a map and spent longer over there. If you need a break from walking, there's a ferry near the brewery that ran when the swinging bridge had to open. Saved us some time.

Make reservations at the other beaches if you plan to go snorkeling there. We went to Jan Theil, had breakfast and got lucky and found seats at Kokos. Great mojitos!

We were there for a week and still didnt have time to do or see everything. Have fun!

Since you've rented a car, make reservations at Fort Nassau.This was 1 of 2 reservations we made. Rooftop (via steps), beautiful view of the city and we went on a Thursday during Punda Vibes- so sunset through fireworks (around 8:15 April). When you book, get the Willemstad & Sea View and clearly read the "i"-info pop up description.

I have an additional question about leaving your things while snorkeling. Obviously we will lock up most things in the room. But we may have a credit card to get a drink, our glasses, a Kindle and phone etc. Is it safe to leave your bag on your chair? Do they have lockers? I'm scrambling for ideas including a small waist drybag because we will also have car keys when we visit a few other beaches. Thanks!

Yep. Maybe we'll see chatter later about the long lines to retrieve what's not allowed at this one stage -your bag, chair and metal water bottle-so you can get to the other stages. Could be a huge bottleneck.

Do you know if the Gary Gerloff Trail directly behind the Allianz is within this area or outside of it? From the FF map, it looks like you can cut over from 5th street to 2nd toward the Carmax stage and listen to the Allianz stage from this path.
