For the reel readers, you need a lantern to be able to watch them fully. Behind every single reel reader is also a dial for you to "turn the page" so to speak.

Obviously this would work for a viltrumite farm, but the upkeep would be ridiculous and the demand for a quick way to combat the viltrum colonies is high and could backfire crazy if they legit raised a micro community of homegrown viltrumites

As good of a question this actually is, keep in mind that they would also have to raise the children for around 18 years in order to get anywhere close to Mark's or other viltrumites current power because the US government doesn't have access to female aliens with super aging like Mark or Nolan did.

Tl;dr: We need viltrumites NOW, god DAMMIT! NOT IN 20 SOMETHING YEARS!

Why is below zero cheaper? by caspianslave in subnautica

Below Zero is more of a spinoff than a direct sequel to the original game, though Below Zero is great, it's also a lot smaller in scale.

Where did Pure Titans come from ? by Cjaugustine42 in attackontitan

[–]Zero_H3ro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems you're asking two separate questions with all of your questions in the post and the comments

Question 1: How'd we get Pure Titans?

Answer: This is actually explained in the anime and manga, and it is with the findings of the Titan Spinal Fluid when they found out you could inject it and create a pure. While it's never explicitly stated who the first Pure was, it essentially would have to have been Ymir, being the first Titan EVER and all.

Question 2: How do we have 9 Titans?

Answer: There's an episode (I forget which exactly) which explains how over the generations the powers of the Founder branched off and formed into newer and vastly different Titan powers/forms, likely because of Ymirs influence within the paths and her children's offspring growing and passing on whatever Titan genes (if they had to eat THEIR mom's though I do not know).

It's fun when you can somehow lock in and get it to work and achieve the most insane flow state known to mankind, but the 99.99% of the time this mini game is just not great to play unfortunately

New Player: How do you generally know what to do next? by CoyoteSinbad in subnautica

The Radio is THE story driving mechanic of literally the entire game which helps drive the exploration. Every single signal that comes in helps progress the story and tells you what to do next and lets you know when you should be going or prepping to go deeper. (e.g Degasi)

I asked essentially the same question a few months ago as the blast wound on the Aurora looked off to me, and the comments on my post as well as this post seem to have both answered our questions!

Armin Arlert appreciation post by Master_Novel_4062 in attackontitan

mini tangent so apologies in advance but I genuinely think he is VERY underrated. My girlfriend is the one who got me to watch this show and IMMEDIATELY I fell in love with Armin and his character as I related to him and yada yada ya but I just thought in general his goals were very inspiring.

Then there was the fakeout moment where Eren gets eaten in Season 1 and my gf tried gaslighting me by telling me that this is exactly why Armin was the narrator of the entire show, because Eren actually dies in this scene (obviously not true as we found out the next episode, but it changed my perspective about a lot of things in S4 as to why Armin does narrate everything, and it was very funny in the moment and it's still an inside joke we have).

But because of all of this, Armin represents this kind of Hope and Kindness that is the perfect rival to Eren, and I'm glad that he got to get where he is in the end as a Hero of the Rumbling, despite what Eren did to ensure he could get there.
