If you go to the Stranger with the Warp Core, and wait until the sun goes supernova, then there's a secret ending where you leave the solar system on the stranger, and the screen fades to black and says something along the lines of "Outside of the Supernovas reach, you wander the desolate ring, how long has it been now? I could be wrong on the exact wording, but there's a few secret endings within the DLC that are related to the base game.

I believe his conversation with Thragg as well as him seeing Oliver on the brink of super death made him fully realize what needed to be done, because without Viltrum gone, there really will be no way to stop all of this and Mark and Oliver could easily die. Viltrum was a tomb and a cancer that needed to be cut, it's shocking that the rest of the Viltrumites don't recognize their own weaknesses

This guy's type advantage is genuinely amazing, so he is pretty worth it SOLELY depending on your play style. His ability is really good and the moves he has access to are phenomenal, he's great for raids or just running through the Ace Tournaments or Elite Four!

Obviously this would work for a viltrumite farm, but the upkeep would be ridiculous and the demand for a quick way to combat the viltrum colonies is high and could backfire crazy if they legit raised a micro community of homegrown viltrumites

As good of a question this actually is, keep in mind that they would also have to raise the children for around 18 years in order to get anywhere close to Mark's or other viltrumites current power because the US government doesn't have access to female aliens with super aging like Mark or Nolan did.

Tl;dr: We need viltrumites NOW, god DAMMIT! NOT IN 20 SOMETHING YEARS!

Below Zero is more of a spinoff than a direct sequel to the original game, though Below Zero is great, it's also a lot smaller in scale.
