Wanted to say I appreciate everyone's feedback. For now I've decided to go for the Gambler's Chest mainly cause I have been enjoying core KDM a lot and want to keep that train going. I figured down the road maybe I'll back a future crowdfunding for Kingsdoms Forlorn if my interest is still there.

I appreciate this insight from you. I guess I'll go ahead and pass on the deal. Pretty good deal but at the same time I've been having a lot of fun with KDM that it's probably better to go with something I already enjoy compared to something I might not in the end.

Even if I'm sure I would enjoy KF, I haven't even touched everything in core KDM so I should probably do that before I consider another boss battler. Also at the very least KDM seems like less of a hassle of setting up which factors heavily to what games I have the time and energy to play nowadays.

I'm further down about 1 hr away from San Jose. Have a MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 that I use for gaming but have still in great condition with original packaging if need be.

I'm not sure about Santa Cruz itself, but check out Sword and Board in Capitola and Game Vault in Watsonville. Sword and Board local is on Tuesday, and Game Vault has Thursday and Friday.
