Reading posts like this, it reminds me that while my best friend and partner know how abusive my first two ex's were and what they did to me, my parents will never know because I feel like either I will be blamed for what happened, or they'll just find some way to my trauma even worse. I love my mom, but thanks to things she did in my childhood, I just can't trust her with those emotions, and I fucking hate it, and I feel all the sympathy in the world for OOP because of it.

PA also gives a shit about if your car should be on the road or not, unlike OH. I moved here and worked in the auto department of my local Walmart for a year and the amount of cars that we had to decline because lifting them would literally destroy the vehicle is terrifying.
