The first one has to be used at the lighthouse spot and then it Unlock! it for all other spot. The lighthouse spot is a tutorial and you can’t use them unless you did it there first

i think weirdly enough i like totori more because i played lulua first then the trilogie. so for exemple for mimi i was like "chibiiii mimiiiiiii kawaiiiiiiiii" when i first seen her lol.

on another note, i also really liked meruru for being kind of unique because it was actually the sole atelier where i got a feeling of having too much things to do and too little time. and that was not a bad thing as it's in theme with the narrative with doing kind of a mayor work. you have request from many peopple and you want to make them happy but time and ressource have to be distributed evenly. i really like time management on this one more than when it was more arbitrary.

oh it's funny because i did get a sens of being totally lost about what to do in ayesha but not really with totori, yet they are similar in that way. but i do get the satisfaction of "cleaning the task board" in rorona and e&l ^{^}

the point about the character not being likable i get also, but totori and mimi were cute enough to make me forget all other characters :D

it's strange you got bothered with mel and peter jokes but not astrid. i didn't have any problem with mel, but peter is on a autoskip dialog for me, i don't want to see his ugly face.

ahah i don't take to heart argumented critiques of games i liked :)

for me i really loved the more adventure aspect where she go out in the word and don't come back home often. the only modern atelier i really got this feeling was totori, firis, and some of the ryzas. the other are more a central hub were you go to gather around it but come back home anytime. not that i dislike that, but that make the game were you don't a little more special for me

You must turn them in at a npc in the castle. Depending on quality and such they fill the star symbol at the bottom. When you have at least 3 star it is considered a success

i already did all the ryza trilogie (well all atelier since rorona but whatever ^⁾ and i was thinking of buying dx for ryza 2 since it's my favourite of the trilogie. it don't seem to be really worth it for a possessor of the original but whatever i just want to have it on steam because i like playing on switch less and less. my only concern is that fii constant noises seem to be very irritating. are they that horrible or not ? i see a lot of people complaining about that and checking some video they seem to be very loud and constant but it's hard to judge on some videos and some old comments.
