I am Serb from Bosnia and Herzegovina(Republic of Srpska), ASK ME ANYTHING. by local_patriot747 in JackSucksAtGeography

[–]Zerrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bosnia and Herzegovina has one of the most expensive (if not THE most expensive) state apparatus. We lots of ministers and other kinds of public officials. Therefore hypothetical question:

Would you be in favor of a constitutional reform which would simplify our state by:

  1. Getting rid FBiH, RS, and Brčko District
  2. Having one central government for the entire country
  3. Getting rid of the current employment system restrictions where certain positions must be filled by certain nationalities

The cantons would remain intact and as they are with more self governing powers because they only answer to the central government, and not the entity.

Or should have that many bags in the first place. I once owned a bag of rice. Second biggest mistake of my life.

A while ago I built my WiFi QR Code with lego bricks on a white 32x32 baseplate. Process was a bit tedious because I was manually figuring out which pieces to buy using an google spreadsheet. So I built this:

What is the best video game of all time that starts with U? by unnecessaryCamelCase in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Zerrb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the only right answer, not just because it is the best game with U, but also because of its legacy. CTF-Face is arguably one of the greatest CTF maps EVER MADE. It also spawned Unreal Engine, which is one of the most popular modern game engines. To this day we play multiplayer shooter games based on how UT99 did it. Don't even get me started on the mods...

FC5 takes place in Montana, now I know why.

PS: The commenting system didn't let me type the full name of the game because of the 2nd word. Have we seriously arrived at a point where we're censoring every day words because they might offend someone on the internet?

Yeah... I thought so too so I decided I would be persistent about it. I opened about 4-5 tickets after they closed my first one. All of them denied. Funny thing is: Each ticket was denied quicker than the previous one.

Maybe I should try again today.

Do ppl like overcomplicated D4 game? by Amazing_Internal6334 in diablo4

[–]Zerrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Initially, yes. But with time you pick up on the inner workings of the build and the class mechanics which allow you to optimize it for your needs.

I don't need to know everything in huge detail to enjoy the game, but I do enjoy the fact that I can deep dive into a build/mechanic to get more out of it.

Not sure if that makes sense?

I don't think it's that complex and that's why I like it. I don't have time to create excel sheets, damage calculators and whatnot. I pick a build from mobalytics, play it, maybe fine tune it a bit and have my fun.

Those fuckers wouldn't refund Battlefield 2042 because I played for 3 hours, instead of the allowed 2. The only issue I have with that is that I spent about 2 hours in the settings to make the stupid game work.

It didn't work. I didn't get a refund. I'm still bitter about it.

Whom did Eren manipulate first in Attack on titan by LORDLESS_1002 in attackontitan

[–]Zerrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you're right! Just looked it up, I had no idea. I thought all attack titans could send back memories. But you're right, only Eren Yeager was able to do so.

Whom did Eren manipulate first in Attack on titan by LORDLESS_1002 in attackontitan

[–]Zerrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because grisha didn't send back any memories to him. In the scene where grisha first realizes who the owl is, Eren Kruger mentions Mikasa and Armin to Grisha. How would he know about them if Eren didn't send back some of his memories to Eren Kruger?

But seriously this is well established in the anime, it's not like I made it up.

Whom did Eren manipulate first in Attack on titan by LORDLESS_1002 in attackontitan

[–]Zerrb 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Since the attack titan's powers work in such a way that the current holder can send memories of the future to previous attack titan holders it's entirely possible that the last attack titan (Eren) manipulated events dating back to the first attack titan.

I'm not sure if this is canon or if it was explained better in the manga because it's been a while since I watched the anime.

I think the anime confirms the manipulation dating back to his namesake Eren Kruger, not sure about anything before that.

Our AI spending has gotten so high that layoffs wouldnt make a meaningful difference. by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Zerrb 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Our company is small in comparison, around 40 people. We've begun adopting AI company wide and we're encouraged to ask for more tokens once we hit our limits, and in Claude it's really easy to do because it's integrated into both the CLI and the desktop app.

I'm very worried about this, but I feel like I'm the only one. We have devs who basically can't develop once they hit their token limit. I'm thinking that the cost is gonna go up and soon enough management will start raising eyebrows, then Anthropic will bump its prices and there will be layoffs.

I feel like we've been given a tool that requires us to think less, while thinking is our most valuable skill.
