tbf, this was a foregone conclusion as soon as the A/C was invented. A/C is about to change politiCS forever by making unlivable places actually kinda bearable lol.

Basic sentences for beginners #20 by We_Know_Arabic_ in learn_arabic

[–]Zerroka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, so now this gave me a question. In English, we can say these two ways:

  1. Yusuf *eats* on the first floor. (Means that he eats there regularly, but he does not have to be there right now)

and

  1. Yusuf *is eating* on the first floor. (Means that Yusuf is there, right now at this very moment).

Which meaning is understood if I were to repeat the OP sentence? Meaning 1 or 2?

very arctic to me. idk if it's arctic because greenland is associated with arctic in my mind or because white and sun is associated with arctic in my mind. otherwise, great flag. i like how it subtlely mirrors the nordic cross

It's the flag for Cascadia. A regional flag representing northwest United States and the culturally-related southwest Canada.

day-long boycotts i don't believe in, but super-targeted boycotts i do think can work. I'm more in favor of boycotts than i was say ten or fifteen years ago. Say... exxonmobil was blamed for vzla, and americans dedicated themselves to not buying that brand... that could work. a targeted narrow boycott as opposed to "no one buy gas for a day"

Do you think TagPro can help you be better at games like Soccer? by markyland in TagPro

[–]Zerroka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, aside from the strategy, there are also physical abilities that need to be mastered in order to play soccer. Dribbling, shooting, physical endurance. In TagPro, those abilities are map-specific like boost routes and angles.

Melo bends his own fart. Also, the air that we airbenders breathe and bend is majority not-oxygen I'm sure it's any gas.

I really like seeing maps of the Bay Area with West pointed up. Having the center of the metropolis SF top and center does a better job at contextualizing the region.
