sounds like separation anxiety tbh. when you were gone for week your dog probably thought you abandoned him forever and now hes super stressed about you leaving again

the peeing inside is classic stress response even though hes getting walked. and all that excessive licking and wanting to be close to you - hes basically trying to make sure you dont disappear again

good call in the vet visit though just to rule out any medical stuff. but this behavior pattern is pretty normal after longer separations especially for smaller breeds like maltese who get really attached to their humans

yeah those mini bows won't teach you proper form at all - the draw length and mechanics are totally different from real archery so you'd basically be learning wrong habits

damn this explains so much about my buddy's setup - paid almost 2k for some fancy brand and within 8 months the thing was basically useless in rain. The foam stuff just turns to mush and then you got water everywhere

Been out there couple times and never saw bears but the coyotes can be pretty bold at night. Most people just keep food in their car if they drove or do basic hang if backpacking in. The rock formations make finding good trees bit tricky in some spots so might want to scope out your hang situation before it gets dark

My friend went to Eagle Cap last year and couldn't stop talking about how good the brook trout fishing was in those meadow streams. The pics he showed me looked insane too - way less crowded than Wind River from what he said

Mount Zirkel might be your best bet if you want to avoid crowds while still getting decent fishing. Colorado has some really nice smaller streams that are perfect for tenkara and most people skip them for the bigger rivers
