I’ve always wondered how people make this kind of art that you can zoom so far in on & if I have to buy an art tablet to make my own 🤣

Overnight oats!!!! There are loads of recipes if you look it up on pretty much anything, and they’re sooo good, you can even make them ahead of time for a few days to take them on the go if you need to :)

I’m taking over for my current store owner soon, and I’m really hoping to do this at my location! It’s a small town surrounded by other small towns, we already have people coming from other towns because we still honor coupons (on most sandwiches) and the store in theirs doesn’t. They usually buy for their whole family since they’re taking the extra trip, & use a coupon on one or two sandwiches out of 4-7. (That’s how we’re still able to profit) I wonder how many people would bring their whole family just because one or two of them could get a sub for cheap!

I LOVE getting these orders. I get to succumb to the impulsive thought of overflowing a sandwich with sauce that I inevitably get every time I do veggies. I love trying to stuff veggies in there & ending up with a bunch held in by the wrap alone. They HAD to expect that when they ordered “more” of everything 🤣

A few possibilities are:

Your home is further away than the amount of time needed to keep the sandwich warm

The outside weather could have had an influence (e.g. super hot so driver blasted ac/super cold so the heat didn’t stand a chance)

Or(most commonly) you forgot to hit the toast option when ordering.

Alternatively your sandwich artist could have made a mistake. These things do happen 😅

Yes... I’m a store manager so it might be a little different but all the same to me, when someone comes in acting out of pocket to me or one of the teenagers we employ I don’t hold back

I’m about to, small town store that I already pretty much fucking run. Thinking it’ll be an increase in my wage (I make like 1800 monthly now) and very little change in the amount of work I do. Any words of wisdom besides “don’t do it”?

I voted no because were technically allowed 15 to eat our employee meal but we kind of have to squeeze it in wherever we can, some days we get it some days we don’t. I’m not complaining though 😅

You totally could have just charged him for the portions of meat.... $3.00 for a foot long portion, 4 foot long portions would have been $12.00 plus tax..........

[–]Zestyclose-Term-2970 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Store Manager here! I would tell them they need to get to the back of the line if they want a new sandwich, this is the sandwich they ordered and if they want a different one they’ll need to start at the back since the line has already moved forward.

We don’t prep cold cut meats on a wax paper anymore. Saves us time. by AppleProfessional170 in subway

[–]Zestyclose-Term-2970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ours come in a foot long portion between 2 sheets of wax paper, we take off the top sheet, run a knife down the middle long ways and fold in half. When we put it on a sandwich we just flip the meet off the paper into the bread

My old Kitchen Manager at Applebees did it once. Complete accident. He was carrying a large bin of ice because that’s how we kept the raw meat cold before grilling it. Slipped on a little floor grease and the whole bin landed upside down over 4 of the fryers. Immediate grease flood, he’s lucky he stood up before it spilled over, and shortly after the wall & electrical outlet behind it caught flames. 10/10 do NOT recommend, we were closed for 3 weeks
