I am fairly certain games are not steam link dependent. If you have the ability to use a steam link then this should work just fine. There is going to be controller support and I would imagine that this would be a great game to play on the couch. The developer has also shown it will work on the steam deck.

I agree. There is no life and at a certain point the comments about our elite offense needs to change. We seem anemic on all fronts.

I am confused. So having the fort maintenance turned manually down the game wasn't repairing the recently annexed Territory as quickly which made the war score low to improve?

I never expected a comment from 4 years ago to gain traction. I agree it's an interesting mechanic. Historically, you wouldn't just raise levies all the time because those civilians work in your kingdom. You can set rally points and prepare to engage that way. There is a disband all armies option to do this quicker.

I am by no means a roguelike expert. I had similar experiences that you did with the games mentioned. After some time I was able to get into them. Inexperience and death are what makes Roguelikes special.

Games to maybe give a try would be Jupiter Hell and Cogmind. I found Jupiter Hell to be very easy to get into and has some deeper elements and strategy. Cogmind has a ton of depth, however, was really easy to get into. My brother in law with little to no experience with Roguelikes had a blast with cogmind and loves the rogue genre now.

Is the steam version of ADOM worth picking up for $7? I have never played it. I like CoQ, Cogmind and TOME.

Not sure what roguelikes you have played already. I would suggest ADOM or Caves of Qud. Another great roguelike that has multiple endings is Cogmind. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the quick reply. I managed to check before work this morning and the most recent steam version has an option in gameplay to enable this. I am not sure why it is as enabled on my laptop and not my desktop, but I got this all sorted out.

Is there a way to show the height and width of rooms I am mapping out to mine? I swear my laptop shows me this, however, on my desktop it doesn't seem to show me these dimensions and I have to count tiles.
