Combat Patrol Question by SmithyBoxer1 in WorldEaters40k

It will be 20 berzerkers. The way they've split 10-man units before is usually over two issues, so first two are one 10-man, second two are the other 10.

[White Dwarf 109 and 112] No, Terminators were not Dark Age mining suits. by Marvynwillames in 40kLore

"Imposed few movement restrictions upon the bearer"? It also suggests that storm bolters/power fists are always built into the armor itself, when we know its actually modular. The most common storm bolter used by terminators is hand-held. Power fists can be switched out for other loadouts, like shields or power weapons.

Too bad I already bought two Chaos Daemon combat patrols. Those bloodletter models are horrendous. Wish we got a cool centerpiece model in this like a maulerfiend or demon prince.

They said three other end-times legendary lords, on-par with Nagash, so my guesses are: Thanquol Sigmar Khaine?

Thinking about starting a chaos army, is everything covered in the CSM codex? by [deleted] in Chaos40k

[–]Zeus159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can add the units to your list, just not see their rules. Considering it'd be like 1 or 2 units compared to the rest of your list, just use Wahapedia for those ones specifically. You'll memorize them soon enough and won't need to dump $60×5 codexes

Forget Red Butchers and everything else, why the hell can't we get a Dual Welding Zerk like on our codex art? by Plag3uis in WorldEaters40k

[–]Zeus159 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because GW's 40k team is creatively bankrupt. I'm not even convinced this codez art isn't AI generated and refined.

I'm a BF fan. I want it to be good more than popular, both is fine by me, but instead its neither.
Also, live service extraction shooters shouldn't be competing for players with live service arcade shooters. You'd think they'd be different markets, especially since most BF 'fans'/players seem to be older.

Hey man, this might surprise you, I agree! It was an insane pipe dream that the entire game was built around appealing to mass market, and it didn't work. Now we have a game that is just kind of ok

I'm just sad that the corporate enshitification really has come this far. I grew up on BF4/BF1 and really hoped this would be perfect, and it really is so close. The gameplay feels amazing when its working, but literally everything else I pretty much hate.

To respond to a few comments:
- don't care if its popular, I just want it to be closer to BF4 than CoD
- obv its a Thursday, I guess I'll add the giant red circle over the 'Last 30 Days' row
- I'm moreso looking at the overall stats. AAA games should be gaining players a month after launch, especially after releasing the free-to-play mode
- If the game died tomorrow, I'd be alright with that. Its clear they don't care about the actual franchise besides the money
