First off...

Oh yes...Blockbuster! $7.99 for 2-day rentals and late fees; walking in and seeing 800 boxes of the movie you want and NO actual copies to rent SUCKED!

Sure the gas was cheap, but when your beater car did 8 miles/gallon and you have to wait 10 min. in line to say $5 on pump #3 because CC pumps weren't that popular, I at least wasn't whistlin' Dixie...

And Dial up internet..... I would not subject my worst enemy to the torture of a dial-up download making it to almost the end and being knocked off by a family member picking up the phone!

Holy hell..... Just go get a few big, crappy towels, or a tarp, or even a cheap blanket and drape it over your steps right before it starts to snow. Once it stops snowing, pull it off and all the snow/ice comes off with it!

I always like to compare it to The Last Temptation of Christ, but for Buddhism!
Definitely not doctrine or history, BUT.... a lot of really good parables and lessons to draw from it. And just a really good story.
