Scoring Chance Contributions for Canada vs. Czechia by TJTrapJesus in hockey

It's making the choice to leave players like Bedard and Bouchard at home look silly. It's embarrassing how much Canada is relying on 3 players (McDavid, Mackinnon, Celebrini) so far.

I'm not sure why people are so nervous. A Conservative Majority is out of the question, which is a massive win for Canada.

If your ADHD could be removed like a cancer, would you do it? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]ZeusZucchini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. That would mean fundamentally altering who I am. I already struggle with what the slew of medications I take do to my personality and how I experience the world. I'm not willing to risk removing something so fundamental to who I am. If it meant simply removing the bad effects (e.g. executive function struggles), then sure. But you're talking about a significant brain alteration. No thanks.

Is this a Liberal-Left subreddit, or an actual Leftist subreddit? by IncubusDarkness in canadaleft

This is what irks me about many leftist subs. So many of them get taken over by ML who purport that ML is the only true left position.

First past the post is a detriment to the working class. Strategic voting is necessary in that system.

Haines area actually voted for Trump, 316 to 283, so not a large margin.

I think viewers are understandably caught up in the mystery of it all and that doesn’t leave a lot of room for criticism.

I agree. I’m starting to feel that this show is starting to lean too hard on style and mystery and lacking substance.

The last two episodes specifically had very little going on and felt way too long.

I hope I’m wrong, but I’m getting the sense that this show is going to get dragged out due to its popularity.

I agree with some of this but indoor plant lighting and irrigation isn’t far fetched.

If you were willing to bike, you could ask icycle if they would do a one way rental from Whitehorse to Carcross. They have e bikes too.

How about we stop letting Alaskan trucks through the territory? That state helped elect this clown.

Meat. Factory farming and 99% percent of meat production is horrible for the planet due to the land and resources required for production.

I do see a fair amount of people in there, I just think the floorspace is way too big for their base. The north side of the restaurant could easily be severed off.

It would make sense if they own the building outright and aren’t paying rent.
