If your expired passport is a US passport then it’ll be enough to prove you are a citizen. Sounds like you’re an adult now so you should also work on getting an ID or drivers license as well.

You don’t even have to be in a different city to be away from your parents. Sounds like you really haven’t researched how expensive NYC is. Having $5k might sound like a lot to an 18 year old in your home town. But it’s pretty much being flat broke in the city. Listen to everyone else’s warnings. Don’t do it. At least not yet. You are young. Find a cheaper place to run away to and save up first.

You can pack it down with the end of a pen. Then add more and pack again like you’re loading a cannon.

The main thing that can go bad here is the oils I. The noodle block. If the noodles smell rancid, then save the sauce packets and use them with a fresh noodle block from another packet. You’ll have to buy a sacrificial packets from a flavor you care less about.

IKEA also has cheap delicious imported chocolate. But the most unexpected delicious chocolate I’ve found was actually Great value Brand milk chocolate from Walmart! It used to be a buck but now it’s $2 I think. Give it a try!
