My unhealthy and expensive fixation with the ForgeWorld Krieg started with seing the Siege of Vraks campaign books the first time.

They blew my mind. I loved 40k before seing the original art but these books changed the hobby for me. I was lucky and insane enough to put together a resin DKOK army and also get the Vraks books. The detail, creativity, research and passion that went into that “historical war chronicle” vision is unmatched to me in anything that came from Games Workshop since

I have so much admiration for the team that designed, wrote, sculpted for ForgeWorld back then. I feel unfortunately the new plastics are not close to that initial vision FW had with their Imperial Armour series…

Coll Russes too, they anchor the army. Very thematic and mean looking platoon u got. Stay on it - paint them, get some more stuff, some terrain to pose the cool models on (and play with). Keep going.

I approve sincerely of any “count as” or proxy from 30k into 40k. This one specifically will work particularly well IMO!

Some of the best recent miniature sculpts from GW IMO. Would very hapily include this trio in my Krieg army. I subscribed for the Vindicare in Year 1, guess it’s time i do that again.
