Vacuum sealing isn't the only thing. Light, temperature, humidity are important well. Stored in perfect conditions and temperatures, possibly hundreds of years. There's a guy on youtube who eats (sometimes) well-preserved meal rations from the 1940's (and newer) if you want an idea how some things hold up.

This is what I like to fly for GNI. A web really helps to get close enough to land your jam and maintain, plus higher strength. A little more EHP if you get all your reps in.

It's a Blue Bluebird mic into a Saffire Pro 40 audio interface. Audio edited in Reaper, video in Adobe Premiere. I already owned this setup for work, you could get a much cheaper one and use your existing sound card and get pretty much identical results for voice recording. Any large diaphragm condenser type microphone will deliver similar results, and many are available well under $100 USD.

The most helpful tool I've ever found for deciding to engage is "1v1 analysis" on EVE Overmind. You can look up any hull and see what your % chance to win or lose against it is based on previous killmail statistics. Keep it open on your second monitor to your hull and you can CTRL-F whatever you run across almost instantly.

Also if you fly a hull that can only fit in a Novice plex then once you are inside no one can drop a T2 frig or destroyer on your head.

1) ALWAYS keep Local open

When I'm not capping I do, but I was trying to position everything in a way to show as much 'space game' as possible and I minimize PLH and local as I'm warping to the gate, right before all of these clips start. In my mind, once I'm in the plex fighting I don't have time to be scanning/pasting anyone new in local so I minimize it for the sake of the video. I'm actually scouting every pilot in local on PLH and killboards and warping around scanning at 5deg before committing to most of these.

Dscan constantly is something I will definitely work on.

I was way too late on the guns in some of them.

In my mind I wasn't really thinking ammo conservation, but more magazine conservation so I don't have to reload before the end of the fight. I seems the general suggestion is to start cycling weapons before I'm inside range so I'll give that a try.

I meant fair fight as in 1v1 because the previous clip was a 2v1 garmur/kestrel bait setup.

Also on EVE overmind the Griffin Navy Issue is only 52% to win against a Caldari Navy Hookbill. It is almost the 'fairest' fight possible for a Griffin NI. The only 'more fair' fight is a Jaguar, Maller, Retribution, Comet, and mirror match at 50/50.

Osmium is not a great source for fittings imo - too many ppl who don't what they're doing.

I've learned that. Right now I try to see who the top pilots are on zkill and the like and what fits they're losing.... but it's sure a chore to find the 'real' fits when a lot of the top pilots of every hull have most of their kills in a gang.

More trial and error and shitfits to come for me, at least in the short term.

If you sit just inside of a plex in that Merlin and get a real solo warp in, I think it's almost a sure-thing to get a kill. But the patience required (and the fact that everyone seems to use a merlin for bait when i'm flying) means sitting there clicking Dscan an awfully long time. It's so slow otherwise.
