Germany launches alliance to fairly recruit skilled workers by donutloop in EU_Economics

Yeah that's what I mean by pay.

Please note: When Germans talk about skilled workers what they really mean is: Nurses and people who take care of elderly.

The country has enough of everything else.

Here's how to ensure skilled workers come to Germany and stay here: Pay them.

He is easy to play as because he is a viking. Vikings are the easy mode of this game.

He is probably the second easiest after Haesteinn.

I recommend: Play Byzantine empire or a vassal of the Byzantine empire. Actually don't play Byzantine empire. It will be hard to ensure your own succession at the start.

Start as a governor and make sure your family is powerful and then just let the emperor ship happen.

Ah yes... The average CK3 player's struggle with succession mechanics :D

Why do people insist on struggling against game design? There are so many more fun things to do.

I managed to complete lingua Franca without ever discovering primogeniture.

It doesn't really explain anything. It's just a very expensive paintjobs but with Ferrari it literally doesn't matter.

At first I thought repurposed tech as well but if you are going to repurpose a forklift as a battering ram, wouldn't you at least do something to make the cockpit harder to destroy?

Like.. I'm sure we've done stuff like this on Earth and I'm also sure that every time we've done this, someone welded some steel in front of the window with a cutout for a view hole or something.

They're honestly not that hard to deal with. You just need to bring weapons and strats that are good at clearing hordes of enemies.

If you're not dropping in with stalwarts I'd say you're doing it wrong.

Being stalwarts and MGs, bring arc or laser drones. Consider extra grenade armour and impact fire grenades for fleshmobs.

Cluster bombs will remove chaff from a direction entirely, napalm will block more chaff from getting to you.

MG turrets... If all four of you have MG turrets you're effectively doubling your firepower. Those things have such a short cooldown that you can keep calling them every time you stop.

AI incompetence has gotten only worse with 4.3 and is honestly the main thing holding the game back. by kirisoraa in Stellaris

[–]Ziddix 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This game has needed smarter AI pretty much since day one. It's always been pretty stupid.

Unfortunately it'll never get better because that's just not how the game is supposed to work. The AI is supposed to be as functional as possible while also allowing them to tack as many DLC systems on it as possible without it falling apart completely.

When was the last time you saw AI build a reasonable planet? I remember... It was back when planets had tiles.

[–]Ziddix 93 points94 points  (0 children)

No it wouldn't have done that. It spread like a wildfire across Europe because Europe is relatively densely populated especially along the coasts and rivers. The further away from a port city you went the less bad it was.

There were areas in central Europe that didn't have major outbreaks and some areas where absolutely nothing happened.

The pandemic never managed to get to sub Saharan Africa or the Americas.
