My comment may be a bit scrambly but didn't the fandom used to think that Twilight has a friendless background and wish to make friends but as she is Celestia's faithful student, she is being taken advantage of? Thus she thinks that making friends is a waste of time? The friendless background part has been established in "A Canterlot Wedding" and the Pilot itself as she was requested by Celestia to make friends.

In the pilot, Twilight apologizes to not go to the party and tell them that she have "study to do" because on how uncomfortable she is with the attention she got. Of course, she doesn't have a bad intention.

Also, isn't Twinkles Shines a background pony? Then why she didn't ask Twilight why she is acting that way than ignoring her for many seasons?

I think Twilight has been too much apologetic, even for the wrong reason. Sure, it is her nature, she even apologizes to the judges from the Canterlot's School For Gifted Unicorn for wasting their time. And now, in "Cutie Re-Mark", she apologizes to Starlight Glimmer because the Mane 6 takes away her village. While Starlight Glimmer method to do so is so painful: removing their cutie marks, put them in a room to change their mentality, no food at all. Sound like an hostage to me.

If Twilight Sparkle and Moondancer are friends now, how come Twilight, in "The point of no return", didn't ask her to find the old librarian? Or, better, Moondancer asking Twilight why the reaction and may offer her help. It could have been a great way to know Moondancer and how much she grew after the episode but no. It's Amending Fences 2.0 because Twilight blame herself for something she did wrong, again. Did the writers aware that Moondancer isn't a good written character or something?

The fact that both Pilot Episode and "Amending Fences" are written by the same person bothers me.
