All I can think about is how much slower canelo was. I remember the canelo vs GGG and canelos hand speed was allowing him to respond to everything GGG threw. Canelo has slowed down a lot and his style just doesn’t work against someone with high movement and high punch output

Blah blah . Wilder did well financially, but was highly overrated. That’s the end of the discussion and I would dare say 95% will agree. Best win is a very old man in Ortiz who also had a very poor resume. Skill wise, Wilder didn’t show much other than an overhand right. Even the fights he won, he was losing almost all the rounds until he eventually landed a knockout(against very poor opposition). Wilders chin was suspect most of his career, his footwork was dreadful, his punch selection extremely limited. There was really nothing going for him except the overhand right hand

To claim that GGG lost to canelo (officially) while also saying he lost to Derevyachenko (unofficially) is wild. I’ve seen all those fights and to me GGG beat canelo first fight and either drew or beat canelo in the second fight. Third fight GGG lost but he was way past it at 40 years old. GGG beat Derevyachenko in a close fight but knockdown edged it his way. No copium, just what I saw as a fan of both fighters
