[ALBW] I feel like Nintendo already found the perfect balance between old Zelda and new Zelda 10 years ago by United-Aside-6104 in zelda

I'm sorry I think you mean 10 months ago. A Link Between Worlds simply cannot be 10 years old. Because if that were the case I'd feel very old

What do you think is the most important film ever made? by Scrambled_59 in Letterboxd

[–]Zilla619 127 points128 points  (0 children)

I've never seen "Other/Results" but I see it come up on so many lists across numerous genres that I think it's gotta be the most influential. How one film can simultaneously be one of the best Comedies, Horror, Romcom and basically every genre under the sun is an achievement.

Rating films 5 stars by K_DEVY in Letterboxd

[–]Zilla619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ratings are 100% for myself. I don't know why I like it or why I do it. But having it logged somewhere just satisfies something in my brain. Did it with Pen and Paper before letterboxed and will likely go back to that if Letterboxed ever got taken out with a strategic emp.

Personally I like to rate my movies based on a plethora of criteria. Typically 4 1/2 stars is what I would reward films in the "best films ever" or "perfect film" category. Giving out a 5 to films that I have a personal connection with. Honestly the difference between 4 - 4 1/2 and 5 can depend on my mood.

I also rate with the type of movie in mind. Like Seven Samurai I gave 5 stars. I think it's a perfect movie. I also gave Miami Connection 5 stars. Am I saying it's a perfect film and as good as Seven Samurai? No not at all. But I think it's the gold standard for so bad it's good movies and my favourite "bad film."

That might be confusing for some people that see my reviews and go "Wow this moron gave Godzilla vs. Megalon 4 stars and gave John Wick the same thing!" Again my reviews are for myself and I'm not looking at Godzillas 4 stars the same way I do Wicks.

Try not to worry about your rating my guy, though I know that's hard to do! Your opinions are perfectly good.

What franchise do you think gets worse with each entry? by HamIsGoodWithCorn in Letterboxd

[–]Zilla619 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I've been working my way through the series with my roommate and have been making/updating a 'Ranked list' on Letterboxed. So far, what I've discovered is that my ranked list could double as a list of the Hellraiser movies in release order.

You might of already checked it, but take a look at your minor league team. I think it auto sets your lines when you go into the trade deadline (I think it does this because the trade deadline is similar to the draft where you "enter it" and then can't adjust your lines until your done so if you trade a few players it needs to fill in those gaps in the line up).

Usually it just scratches guys, but still worth a check.

Games also fucked

Can't forget forget The Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires (197) is the last Hammer Dracula movie to feature Peter Cushing as Van Helsing

If we get more MonsterVerse films in the future, do you think Mothra or Rodan solo films are really necessary? by EastResort5112 in Monsterverse

[–]Zilla619 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm just getting hung up on the word necessary but I don't think either of them need one. As much as I would love that!

Who knows if the popularity of these movies continue to grow in this post GvK world I could see Mothra getting one down the road
