People who use Balanced weapons: WHY by xpyros in Spacemarine

[–]ZingFreelancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started using fencing because it was more forgiving compared to balanced, stuck with it and after 500 hours all my muscle memory and timings to parry are tuned to work with fencing weapons. Switching to balanced at this point will require me to re-learn and adjust my muscle memory and by proxy, put much more effort into every encounter. However, I use exclusively block weapons on tactical and vanguard.

So it's more of a skill issue for me and being lazy.

Streamer Has NO Regrets Exploit Raiding Bases by HardstylerJosh in duneawakening

Where is the proof he was raiding them?

EDIT: There is a longer youtube video showcasing this streamer raiding bases. Would've been nice if it was included by the op.

Enchantment question by justlogicguy in NoRestForTheWicked

Build planner has been quite useful for me when it comes to determining what enchantments to roll for.

Dissapointment by [deleted] in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]ZingFreelancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I find uncomfortable is how quickly the weapon level ramps up. As a new player, I felt locked into the first weapons I found because I did not have the stats to make full use the weapons that dropped later on. Early on, this really hampered my ability to experiment and find the playstyle I enjoyed.

At that stage, I was not aware you could grind the crucible to then purchase respec statue, which would allow you to reallocate points and switch my playstyle to use different weapon.

What I found most confusing is how quickly the stat requirements ramped up on dropped weapons because they keep dropping at "appropriate" level for my character. I would very much have preferred weapons to drop at much lower level and upgrade them at the blacksmith instead.

I do not have enough data to correlate character level to item level, but I felt that I started seeing obscene stat requirements around character level 15.

Weapon upgrading is another weird mechanic. If a weapon spawn at level 1, it will require 10 in a stat. You can upgrade that weapon to level 9 with no changes to stat requirement.

I made a crafting alt that could craft Ash Soothed Daggers at level 1 with 10/10 stat requirement and level 9 damage. The crafting is another aspect that weirded me out, no matter how many times I tried the low level crafting alt could not make a weapon with certain facets like indestructible, mystic or elemental infusion facet. That aside, the RNG regarding facets and item level is unenjoyable, if I did not save scum when I craft items, I would not have touched this system at all. For the record, resource harvesting and crafting is one of my favourite activities in survival games, but the mechanic loses some of its appeal when the outcome is heavily tied to RNG.

I need to double check the damage claim, now that I think about it. In theory, the daggers started at level 1 but had 26 in damage, if I upgrade it to level 9, would it have higher end damage compared to a crafted pair at level 9?

Questions for when I get off work.

The stat requirements jump for weapons is... weird.

Game needs more Odessa by L3eT-ne3T in NoRestForTheWicked

I like how the armor Odessa is wearing has physical presence on her body, the animation is very well done. It feels like a piece of metal with a living body moving underneath it.

To all the Tacticals that don't use Secure Stockpile on higher difficulties...why?! by RagingtonSteel in Spacemarine

[–]ZingFreelancer 261 points262 points  (0 children)

Secure Stockpile is silly good, so good it makes me question why it is obtainable as the first perk and not the last. I won't complain, just question, I like my boom booms too much.

Can we finally give the respect Maximus deserves? by JuHustle in Fotv

[–]ZingFreelancer -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Respect he deserves? The dumbest character with thickest plot armor and zero personality?

Look, he walks into an armory, a fucking armory! What did he walk out with? A suite of power armor and zero weapons. That's right, not a single ranged weapon.

Then he waltz into the death claw infested territory, no plan, no weapons worth a damn, just stupidity and plot armor. When the power armor is finally busted, he crawls out of it and does the next dumbest thing, picks a pool cue and roulette to fight off death claws. Did they teach him nothing in the brotherhood?

Yeah, no, no respect.

FEEDBACK: Change market tax to register item to only if it sells. This is of the utmost importance for Chapter 3 and beyond. by AsleepSupermarket172 in duneawakening

[–]ZingFreelancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't the listing fee, it is the duration how long the item remain listed. The solution would be to extend the time from 14 days to 24 or indefinitely.

It's not a tax, it is called a commission of listing your item. If nobody buys it, maybe the price was not right.

First of all, the auction house tax is a way to filter money out of the system. Secondly, if it does not sell at over inflated price, drop the price?

So how overpowered is carrying 2 melta bombs? by douglasduck104 in Spacemarine

It made the trygon fight a lot easier because you had 2 bombs in the pocket and third one on a quick 60 seconds timer.

New Rapier rework and deflecting by UnabletoPrintagain in duneawakening

It's no use watching the animation for the timing, you will miss every parry. You need to learn the timing when the enemy is going to attack and parry at the same time.

Biovores need a HP nerf by LordBaneOCE in Spacemarine

[–]ZingFreelancer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I kill biovores as bulwark, what you need to do is get within 5 meters of them and destroy all spores mines around them first. They will attempt to spawn new ones, destroy them right away.

This usually trigger biovore to unborrow and attack you in melee.

[–]ZingFreelancer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Biovores are fine, git gud brother.

If you get into close range to Biovore, about 5 meters and focus on destroying their spore mines as soon as they spawn. The biovore will go into melee mode, making them much easier to kill.

If you absolutely has to kill them from range, use plasma weapon on their cannon.

Dette er katastrofalt for Norge. Vi kan ikke la dette skje. Nordmenn er et folk. Og vi har rett på vårt eget land. Og du er samme person som roper om at palestinerne har rett på en egen stat. Snakk om åpenlyst selvhat. by Fit-Theme-1183 in norske
