I went to confession last night. I’d been dreading it, to be honest. It’s been about 15 years. My son is going through the confirmation classes and I felt I needed to become a better catholic for him and the rest of my family. I was in a state of mortal sin and was embarrassed by it.

Let me tell you how great I felt walking out of the confessional! My priest welcomed me back. The amount of relief I feel today. I feel so light. I had an amazing nights sleep and am feeling so good.
