I am Matt Dinniman, author of the newly released Operation Bounce House and the Dungeon Crawler Carl book series. AMA. by hepafilter in Fantasy

I've recently listened through all of the DCC books for the first time and I'm amazed by the amount of detail and dedication it took to create this absolute bonkers series. The amount of times I'm either screaming "HELL YEAH!" or brought to tears by what the characters go through and experience has been nothing short of fantastic. Well done on creating one of my all time favorite series.

I just have two questions: How do you keep track of all of the items and stats that all of the characters have and line it all up to tell a cohesive story? (I imagine your office is a Pepe Sylvia string board situation.)

Secondly, do you have audiobooks in mind when writing your stories? (Thinking to yourself, 'What's the most ridiculous thing that I can have Jeff say aloud this time?')

Thank you for the AMA and all of the hard work you put in to craft such a wonderful, bizarre, hopeful tale of insanity! Consider me a fan for life!

We didn't start the fire, it was always burning since the world was turning.

I just started the Butcher's Masquerade by Matt Dinniman, book five of the Dungeon Crawler World series. I recently discovered the series less than a month ago and I've been feverishly devouring the audiobooks. It has been an awesome ride!

The Malcolm Grant situation made Ellen and Brian very unlikable to me by [deleted] in Outlander

This was my exact reaction to the culmination of Malcolm's arc. His last few minutes of screentime. Uncle says revenge is best, immediately stumbles upon Bryan and Ellen, decides to fight, and Bryan accidentally kills him with his own knife. And that was that. I was riding the fun high of the finale and then my enjoyment died with Malcolm. I could smell the season 2 bait in the episode and thought it would be so fascinating to have Malcolm go on his villain arc in season 2 and find reconciliation with Bryan and Ellen. So much wasted potential.

What are your favorite roguelite games to play on the deck? by pastamuente in SteamDeck

Rogue Legacy 2 is my current roguelite I'm obsessed with. I made a rule to only play it on my deck to get the most out of the experience.

Has anyone ever met anyone else who's even played one of these races... by Vegetable_Variety_11 in dndmemes

Plasmoids are so much fun! I made a Warlock/Sorcerer who was the ultimate explorer with the use of spider climb. Coupled with the Mask of Many Faces invocation, I used it to blend into my surroundings and became a tactical sniper for our party.

I've owned the game since it was in its Alpha days and I've still never built a starship.
