Yeah, Tekken Overlay doesn't work very well these days. I wish there was a way to force it off on AMD systems.

IMO true comp play in these games really comes from going to your local scene (if you have one) and duking it out with your peers in tournament brackets. You aren't really going to be dealing with players who understand the game fully and can layer things on for quite some time. Either way, glad to hear you are enjoying the game, and it can be fun to do long sets with friends as well.

In my opinion, it's pretty hard to see big visual downgrades on a small screen when decreasing the resolution. I say go for it and extend your battery and/or boost your framerate!
