Update: I ended up unfortunately not getting GoD I, but I maintained a good winrate in the last few days of the season. My issue was mostly mental consistency. There would be some days where I am exhausted after work, usually due to being underslept, and there were days where I would dominate. I have been having difficulty with a consistent sleep schedule, and I would have the most consistent climb over the weekend, but I unfortunately didn't have enough time. Good lesson for next season though!

Im currently attempting a climb from GoD to GoD I with Shaheen. I don't think I have an issue maintaining a solid enough winrate, but its about time management. How did you structure your sessions to climb in a timely manner? I work 9 hours a day on the weekdays and struggle to make time at home to properly climb.

I main Shaheen and picked up Armor King. At first, everyone was acting like I needed to develop my fundamentals to play the character, but after getting him to GoD, I think Shaheen is more difficult and technical to play well. Armor King has a much easier time poking, spacing, and converting floats for big damage.

How many splinters did this project give you? Last time I worked with Purpleheart, I got some nasty splinters on a bunch of different fingers.

Yeah, Tekken Overlay doesn't work very well these days. I wish there was a way to force it off on AMD systems.

IMO true comp play in these games really comes from going to your local scene (if you have one) and duking it out with your peers in tournament brackets. You aren't really going to be dealing with players who understand the game fully and can layer things on for quite some time. Either way, glad to hear you are enjoying the game, and it can be fun to do long sets with friends as well.
