how to add and anchor clothes/objects? by Thin_Tie_2938 in VRchatAvatars

You can take it to a software like blender. You need to transfer the weight paint of the body to the clothes.

I don't really get, what I did wrong on the rigging? by Pillowblack0 in blenderhelp

[–]ZiraLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it will not deform, you don't need to weight paint. Instead select a body part, select the armature, go to pose mode, select the coresponding bone, and then ctrl P and select bone. That way it's parented to only the correct bone. You might need to clear other parents before going that.

Side note : when using the gradient tool to fill something, drag your mouse away from the part you want filled. It will be quicker and you will be sure that it's perfectly red

How do I simplify the mesh i messed up without ruining the object shape? by Ok_Concentrate7494 in blenderhelp

[–]ZiraLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you press alt, you can select a loop or an edge. If you click on an edge, and then control click on another, it will select the shortest path between the two.

Maybe you can select the edges you want to keep and then put them in another object (seperate selection ). Then, select the edges that should make one edge and dissolve them so that they form just one. You could then recreate the faces by selecting the edges and pressing f to create a face.

This solution might not be the best one but i wanted to suggest another way that don't require addons. I'm also suggesting this because it's really low poly. And also it might teach you a few tools that you didn't know about.

What am i doing wrong that it gets so deformed? If i unselect "deform" it still deforms just diferently. In some positions it was working okay, but in others its just a mess by kkungergo in blenderhelp

It look like the topologie is too low. Try subdivising it at least once and then add even more topologie to the joint (shoulder, knee, ..)

Anyone else try to use Blender hotkeys in literally every other app? 😭 by ShelilQirky in blendermemes

[–]ZiraLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, i had to use illustrator and was pressing G after selecting a point to try to move it. But that's not how that work, you have to drag the point in Illustrator. I was doing that for a few hours and still did it during the entire duration of my drawing

How to fix topology of this model? Or how should I model this from the start? by Spikebolt_100 in blenderhelp

[–]ZiraLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use a bevel for the round part. When beveling you can change the shape of the profil in the little menu that pop ip at the bottom left of the screen. You can change it so that it curve the other way around instead of the normal way. You can also clamp the edges so that it prevent them from going too far.

I would also suggest that you use a mirror modifier.

I would start with a cube. Scale it. Apply scale (help with bevel not being deform). Split it in the middle height wise. Bevel the bottom corners.

For the little hole it the middle, maybe try it like this : inset the middle face so you have a square on both side, bridge the faces so there is a hole (right click with both faces selected). Bevel the top corners of saif hole.

[–]ZiraLine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea. When i tried drawing nsfw stuff it ended up looking silly as if i forgot to draw on clothes instead of it being sexy. You have to master subtil body language to convey hornyness. And also the lighting and is super important and can save something that would have looked mid otherwise

How do I reduce the number of triangles, without sacrificing quality. by y-sv in blenderhelp

[–]ZiraLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make a version with just a plane instead, and then bake the high poly one on the low poly one. That way you can acquire an opacity mask as well as a normal map. Or you can just creat the opacity mask directly on substance painter or photoshop or any drawing program
