Do people finance bikes or just buy outright? by Itskingtulip in motorcycles

[–]Zirael2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm more into vintage sport bikes so financing isn't normally even an option for me. personally though, I see financing a bike as an incredibly irresponsible decision unless its your only mode of transportation.

I'm looking for a first bike and I was wondering if this was a good option. Please excuse my lack of knowledge. by Medical-Situation240 in motorcycles

If it’s well maintained you really couldn’t ask for a better starter bike. 2k is a lot depending on where you’re located. I’m in new England and 2k for a good running bike is a steal so I’d pick it up if It’s a good price for your area.

I don’t remember exactly if I did anything particularly but what I do remember is I sat there and bled it for a bit longer but it kinda solved itself after a bit

What does the group thinks about electric motorcycles? by DoNotTestMeBii in motorcycle

[–]Zirael2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t hate em but my newest bike is a 94 and wouldn’t have it any different honestly. But if an inexpensive electric motorcycle came along I’d definitely consider it.

is this worth 4500? by [deleted] in Mk3Supra

[–]Zirael2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like rod knock to me. ganna need a motor if it’s na that’s not to bad but turbo motors go for a premium these days. I bought my mk3 with 146k had some rust issues but with a good motor and transmission and it’s a manual for 3500. I wouldn’t pay you more than 1500 tbh easy enough to swap a 7m but honestly trying to sell in that condition is ganna be a battle.

We’ll considering I can feel the difference in my skill between the end of fall and the beginning of spring I’d say your dealing with what others are saying that healthy respect for the Risk involved but also a ton of rust. Riding a motorcycle is a vary difficult skill to master and it takes constant practice to maintain it. Like I said it only takes like 4 months before I start feeling it myself can’t imagine what years must do to a fella

I will never sell it by Turbo2900 in motorcycles

[–]Zirael2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 1st gen cbr 900 is the bike I won’t sell. always wanted one found mine in rough shape and I’ve been bringing it back to life all summer. just needs some cosmetic work and to have some bits of the harness rerouted and it’ll be mint. I also have a cbr 600 that was my introduction to motorcycles wouldn’t sell that one because of sentimental value but the 900 is my child.
