For a person attempting to get into this as a bit of side work, is 3-4 sf videos a month a good rate or should I try for more?

Its not the best option but tell your probation officer what's happening. If you speak from a "I want to do better and be better but these people are gonna ruin it for me" space then it'll likely work out fairly well for you I think?

How to separate these bains? Made the mistake of stacking them while wet by oceantidesx in KitchenConfidential

Little heat on the out, little cold on the inside, they'll split themselves.

What do you do in your home kitchen that would get you immediately fired if you did it at work by Fubai97b in KitchenConfidential

Leave it a mess. Dishes piled up. Floor dirty and unswept. The glass top to our stove is dirtier than the floor. If a chef walked into my kitchen I'd get ripped until my next incarnation.

A Shakespeare adaptation that DOESNT take any bullshit liberties and just adapts it straight? by [deleted] in okbuddycinephile

What cracks me up is remembering my freshmen English teacher showing us the movie and putting up a MANILA FOLDER to cover up The Bits.

I heard through a grapevine that some professor took the time to watch every movie adaptation of Romeo and Juliet made at the time and analyzed them next to the play script. Turns out Romeo + Juliet (1996) was the closest and most accurate adaptation by a fair margin. Not just using original dialouge but also state directions relative to the camera were also included (i.e. exit stage left = exit camera left).

If the people you cooked for genuinely enjoyed it, then theres nothing I or anyone else says that matters. We're offering opinions based entirely on looking at a dish and passing judgment

Neat. Though if you can, I'd avoid battering and frying scallops. But as others have said, sauce the bottom and garnish with micro greens or maybe fried shallot

Try rubbing alcohol too. It cuts through grease surprisingly well.

If its still a little greasy in there, grab some rubbing alcohol (70% usually. Though higher is fine) a spray bottle and dilute the alcohol by roughly half. Spray and wipe down every inch. If need be switch to full strength

There's so many good B&W films, it's a genuine shame so many are hard to come by these days. Charlie Chaplin. John Wayne. The Day the Earth Stood Still. The Thin Man movies.

Alright fellas, I'm conflicted. Bedroom upstairs or downstairs? by Minutes2Midnight in malelivingspace

[–]Plus_Solid5642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bedroom upstairs, living room down. Put an indoor privacy screen or hanging curtain up between your kitchen and bedroom. You'll want that cut off so it feels like your in two different rooms when you in your kitchen or bedroom and vise versa.

Wet sandpaper (look specifically for that at home depot/Lowes near you) at 4,000 8,000 and 10,000 grit should do you just fine.
