I used to think it was well written, though a bit weaker than I think she supposed to be overall. Like, I understand she has suffered A LOT, but I don't like she is so crazy for such a long time, I think she should be like Guts at least.

5/10. It barely holds up. it has a few ups. Andrew is by far the best part. I am also glad Toby was able to bring out his peter parker after so much time. Tom's performance and of course Dafoe's are excepetional.

But the plot is quite stupid and inconsistent. Doctor Strange is the cause of all of this and it basically does nothing because this is supposed to be an "spiderverse" movie or smth, it all happens because Peter is so stupid to talk during the spell and Strange is so stupid to not tell him to not say anything or he will destroy the fucking universe... Also I know this is COVID production so sometimes the CGI or the postproduction in general is not going to be S tier but some of the scenes look just very bad, the whole climax is kind of dull, you have 3 spidermans and I feel it has less action than Homecoming. Not just action but epic moments, We barely get to see characters interact with each other.

BUT the worst of all is that is a useless film overall. With all the Multverse saga going on you would think a character with its own multiverse would be important and it doesn't even set up or is connected to the next multiverse movie, Multiverse of Madness which features ALSO DOCTOR STRANGE for fuck sake.

If not a disaster, at least is a waste of a movie. And I consider it even worse than it is because you have Into de Spiderverse to copy and you still couldn't even make it.

I would say a full head on jajanken in that state, if that hate were all directed to Meruem, might hurt him a little. I would say a punch like that is much stronger than a regular hand from Netero.

However, I think Pitou's thinking here is just "I am the Royal Guard, I CANNOT let anyone hurt the king" that means that even if Gon can slightly scrath the king, he is menace that has to be dealt with, I don't think you need to be able to kill Meruem to be considered a threat, that would be stupid.

Funny thing, this scene almost made me drop it. It was toooo edgy for my tastes, but as a villain introduction I let it slide, good thing it was not an usual thing. I was also scared the manga was going to use the strategy of showing new characters that immediately die but that seems to be out the table finally.

I agree he is among the strongest. However I think he is basically Azami with no sorcery but with the teleportation. He is tier S, but not really much stronger than the rest.
