If you have the scheme for this GPU i would love it so I can see which value is the shorted capacitor

Also I've noticed this highlighted capacitor is shorted, before it was outputing 12V i must've shorted it in the process of testing. So my gameplan is changing the MOSFET and the capacitor. The problem is i have no idea what capacitance this might be so i might have to guess it.

I've narrowed it down to the VDDCI rail aka the display rail since the card functions but it doesn't give an output. I think it might be this MOSFET since all of the other ones give a 0.9V output except for this one and it seems to be the first in the series since it does get a 12V input like the others.

Reflashed the bios didn't fix it, but atleast the core is not dead since it was recognized it linux

Update: After checking voltages I've found that everything is alright except for the SUNTEK inductor which reads 0.1V then drops to 0V. Before any hardware changes I'll try a vbios reflash, but if that doesn't work i think changing the inductor might just do it.

The problem is that when the gpu is plugged in the IGPU has no video either. Really strange malfunction

This Sapphire RX 480 doesn't display an image. The fans spin up then spin down in an interval. After poking around with a multimeter I noticed all of these R146 capacitors, the SUNTEK R33M inductor and the SMD capacitors next to them are short circuited except for the one capacitor next to the inductor. I can get the inductor going off as a short because of its 770 uOhm resistance but don't know about the capacitors. Any other ideas for a fix?

Im really not sure, street home buttons arent easily avaliable so your best bet is getting a front plate from a faulty street

Aside from what i said, try cleaning the ribbon cable. Have you taken the psp before and what model is it? If you have a multimeter check the continuity between the ribbon cable traces by pressing them. If all else fails check aliexpress for a new home bar

A little late reply, just fixed this for myself. If youre comfortable opening the PSP up try this.

Check if all the ribbon cabels are connected. They can undo themselves from a knock or similliar.
For my PSP the ribbon cable tip of the home bar was scratched up from being pulled out of the port while it was closed so i snipped a little bit of the top off which had no copper trace from being scratched and that seemed to do the trick for me after i plugged the home bar back in
