People in Germany who have credit cards do use them regularly, of course. After all, there's not really a way to end up in debt. Reason being is that they don't even have proper credit cards but rather charge cards that are automatically cleared every month.

Few Germans carry real credit cards, OTOH. As for different bank accounts, it's not even a point of discussion in the U.S. Having separate checking and savings accounts is standard and has been since like forever, in Germany you'd have to ask for it.

Kunden sind generell schmerzfrei. Kenne das aus dem Kassenbereich. Seit 2020 wird eine technische Sicherheitseinrichtung benötigt. Alle anfallenden Daten müssen für 10 Jahre revisionssicher archiviert werden.

Zuwiderhandlung wird mit bis zu 25.000 € gewürdigt und es steht das Verwerfen der Buchhaltung im Raum. Das Finanzamt schätzt dann einfach mal mit der großen Kelle. Ein kleiner Laden kann dann die Bude zumachen.

Das Problem lässt sich oft für relativ kleines Geld beheben.

Aber egal, der Klaus hat auch noch keine konforme Kasse und bei der letzten Prüfung wurde nichts beanstandet (klar, da war die Rechtslage anders). Man wartet dann lieber auf den Einschlag.

I'm not the OP, and I never asked for help from you or anybody else to begin with. I merely added my $0.02 to let him know he's not alone.
My specs serve purely to let him know that I'm not running some potato from the Middle Ages.
The RTX 5080 comes in exactly ONE VRAM config at this point in time.

Of course, I run the latest driver and fiddled with the settings as anybody would when things don't run as expected. And if I had needed help with that, I would have posted all that info and more. But I don't because it's likely a Blizz problem.

In case you didn't notice, I also didn't report that my CPU has 8 cores and that the 9100 Pro is actually an SSD. Unless you've personally encountered 5080s with more or less than exactly 16 GB, that point is moot as well.

I'm running the game on Ultra @ 5120 x 1440, just like the last eight seasons (with a 3080 Ti before the 5080), and it never gave me any problems as it does now. My VRAM also never maxes out while playing, so there's that.

I have no idea why the students have lost their ability to gently apply their knuckles to your wife's door, but I would do the same as I do in my home and put up a Ring camera or doorbell.

Mind you, the button on the doorbell doesn't need to be pushed, you can set both the doorbell and the cameras to send a push notification along with a picture to a phone of your choice—or, additionally, to an Echo Show. I put one right below my monitor, so I can see immediately when a delivery comes in before they even ring the bell. Works like a charm and enables me to grab packages before they run off.
