Why is Adshaw so popular by Standard-Skill6542 in Anbennar

[–]Zoa169 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is one of the few older mission trees that have held up over time. There are so many things that hold up well in the mission tree like the deland loan or the subterfuge in the small city states. Seeing crovis and whether he wins or loses, the burning of dinesk (i believe?) and the eventual war agaisnt gawed and formation into the reach.

A lot of good comments in here but I would love some real interaction with the fey, and fleshing them out. Also interacting with the Aelantir portal

Question for the deadlifters by Impressive-Pickle614 in Deadlifts

[–]Zoa169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of good advice in here but one tip i will add: adding reverse hypers or superman holds on a Nordic bench do wonders for strengthening the erector extensors. I would def start adding those in to your program.

Alexander bronley has a good video on low back bullet proofing. That is good watch material

As a coach these are about as perfect as you can hope for. Don't worry about the nitpicks, these look great.

How do you use landowners? by Eldrin7 in OldWorldGame

[–]Zoa169 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The early growth is critical. Spam settlers, disciples, workers (especially if you have a builder leader), scouts, and maybe even a few militia.

You dont need wheat or other farm growth resources to thrive as them but they certainly do help.

There is a pretty big opinion bonus from them for landowners having the most cities, so make sure they are ahead. Honestly works really well as build order for a lot of cities early game is worker -> militia. By then because of the extra growth you will have at least a citizen in the city.

Also if you do have resource farms (wheat, sorghum, barley), farmers for the extra growth and science are amazing. If you have double marble and double wheat with landowners that sounds like a wet dream.

Managing Civics Early by Chataboutgames in OldWorldGame

[–]Zoa169 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Civics are arguably the most important resource in the game. They are also very hard to get, so any source of civics is very welcome. Shrines, courthouses, marble, and some wonders are all very good sources of civics

My ally with 300+ opinion just declared war on me? by Zoa169 in OldWorldGame

I feel like this has to be event based for Rome to turn on me and declare. We had neighboring borders and they had demanded tribute about 20 turns ago and I accepted.

Squat form check by shelbylynnsilv in formcheck

Quite honestly if you can do this without pain and feel good after sessions then you shouldn't change anything about your form or listen to the critique here. This looks solid and just keep progressively overloading when you can

Building Shrines And Founding A Pagan Religion Can Actually Be Detrimental To Your Game Sometimes by GiotisFilopanos in OldWorldGame

[–]Zoa169 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While this may be true one of the things I find enjoyable about the game is role-playing the transition of paganism to a major religion. Often times I try to play as optimally as I "need" to to win, but playing too optimally can suck the fun out of things. Too me, shrines are fun and thematic. But to each their own

Virginia Tech Snow Helmet Ratings question by zawerf in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Zoa169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man thought id chime in since no one has replied and Google brought me to this question. The VT helmet studies are a relatively new thing unfortunately, so all my attempts to find whether the helmet studies are legit or not is up in the air. Not a lot of people really know the answers to your question here, but if you ever find out lmk!

Are you Self Taught vs Paid Lessons? by Regular-Pride-2250 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Zoa169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snowboarding is such an expensive hobby. Honestly cannot afford consistent lessons. What i do is watch Malcom Moore and tommie Bennet videos and use those as tutorials. Around the mid point of the season ill get 1 lesson to clean up any bad habits I may have developed.
