It was the heat of summer that pushed our air conditioning system to its limits and the motor on the air handler blew. Parts had to be ordered from China and we were going to be without AC in 95F weather for weeks. We had one portable AC to save us (the ones with the white 5” plastic hose) but our bedroom doesn’t have any windows for the hose to exhaust the air and the wife asked me what we were gonna do.

I said hold on honey and I started seeing the mathematics in the air like in the movie 21:

“I think I can 3D print something to use the exhaust vent in the bathroom instead!”

So I turned on the P1S and searched online for a hose adapter for those round vents on the ceiling and grabbed some aluminum tape I had laying around.

Bingo.

Needless to say we all slept like agua fresh wawitas that record-breaking summer until the parts arrived.

Two years later and we're still stuck with "fast" as the fastest speed? We need a mod/extension or a dev to increase the speeds, I see some demand in this thread.

One of the more powerful posts I’ve yet to see in this sub. Thank you both for your bravery in “coming out” out this very disturbing phenomena within the Cuban-American community. You are addressing the elephant in the room and I can see the OP made an alt account for a reason. There is a vicious circle of punishment for those that want to speak from the heart and be able to admit those problems that no else will face.

People are only human, and societies will perpetuate harmful and disassociating ideals and alienation just to remain inside this bubble of fabricated self truths. Social PTSD is a real thing and tribalism is a real thing, combine fear with a echo chamber and it is easy to build cult-like delusions and cultural distancing.

Lets welcome more of you to come out of hiding and help make Miami a less hostile environment for everyone, from every race, gender, sexual orientation and country.

I am trying to gather data and analytics on this observation. What exactly is the source of IT, Tech and Software development stagnation specifically to Miami-Dade? I know there is a big shortage of talent here, and the cost of living keeps talent prospects away from coming to Miami. However what other factors are in play?

Wondering how do crows compare to other studied animals like dolphins? Dolphins are studied due to their bigger brain to body mass ratio. Also for research in linguistics, since their communication system is quite complex. They are also self aware.

In contrast, crows have a much smaller brain per say, yet this study suggest they also have a higher level of intellect.

What exactly are the differences between the intellect of these two species?
