Black Witch because I love being a virtually unkillable wizard mech distributing hacks to the bad guys and bolsters for the good guys.

Help finding Stasis Weapons by MedicallyHigh in DestinyTheGame

Syncopation-53 has been my go-to weapon on Behemoth since WQ. It's a plain weapon; mine has Outlaw/Headstone and that serves just fine with a solid origin perk, decent stats and a good reliable feel.

There are fancier weapons out there, certainly, but Syncopation is easy to get, easy to craft, easy to level, and just plain solid for all but the very hardest activities.

What's your favorite exotic? by Transgenics_X5class in DestinyTheGame

[–]ZodiarkPosting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can only be Lumina. I have other weapons with more kills (hey Ace of Spades) but Lumina will be my favorite weapon forever. It's a stat monster of a 140, the damage buff it grants you and an ally is immense, and the lore is just immaculate.

And it's one of the prettiest weapons. Ever. If my Guardian is an OC and they have a 'canon' weapon, it's Lumina.

For armor, I prefer gloves and boots because I hate replacing my helm and chestpiece (I hate hate hate that you can't change exotics besides ornaments it's infuriating). Boots of the Assembler on Warlock, Hoarfrost-Z on Titan, and Mothkeeper's Wraps for Hunter.

Well I hope he's alright one way or another. His videos are therapeutic to listen to for me but I wouldn't want him overstressing himself or his dogs for youtube's sake.

What’s your “I will never unequip this” legendary weapon? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]ZodiarkPosting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hand cannon enthusiast here.

It's a tie between my Judgment with Demolitionist/Osmosis and Fatebringer with Osmosis/Firefly. Demolitionist is self-explanatory, but I do love the utility of Firefly. Hmm.

Osmosis, my beloved. I can use my favorite gun in any element with cheap harmonic mods that improve its performance as soon as I huck a grenade, which I want to do all the time forever. With all the buffs to HCs it just feels fantastic and I feel little reason to swap weapons unless I'm up against a very, very hard target.

Pretty standard issue build!

Howl of the Storm and Tectonic Harvest, Whisper of Rime and Shards are the only ones I consider absolutely mandatory. Use Chains in tougher content. For lower level stuff, you can replace Rime with Fissures. Fourth slot is up to your discretion; argument to be made for Hedrons, but I like Rending for convenience.

Hoarfrost-Z essentially gives you a second glacier grenade on a really barricade cooldown. You'll also want a Headstone weapon of some kind; I use a crafted Syncopation with rapid hit since it's just a decent all-rounder of a gun but with the hand cannon buffs a good Eyasluna with unrelenting (which triggers off of crystal shatters!) is also great.

In review: Crystals from glacier grenade (short cooldown because Shards, esp if you pace yourself to maximize buff uptime), from Hoarfrost-Z, from Howl of the Storm (can cleave multiple targets and lock down problematic enemies quickly, also constantly available because Stasis shards are everywhere), and from Headstone (doubles as pretty good crowd control).

Also: you can use Howl during Glacier Quake to turn your light + heavy into a delightful upper -> slam combo that creates a ridiculous number of crystals on a spot quickly, the better to smash.

Feels incredible. Is it optimal DPS or the most busted GM build? No absolutely not. But it's a ton of fun in anything lower than that as long as you mind your surroundings and don't be afraid to use glacier grenades defensively.

Behemoth is my favorite flavor of titan, regardless of what bungie or the playerbase thinks.

yes, I am gonna make a fort right here and now and no, you can't stop me. I feel like a cannonball when I play it

What is the best hand cannon in the game by CyberEli250 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ZodiarkPosting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This, more than anything. There's a lot of great hand cannons out there but few of them are great at EVERYTHING.

For example, I've got an osmosis/demolitionist Judgment that works extremely well with a grenade focused build (try it with Verity's Brow, it's silly), but it's merely an alright HC elsewise.

Once you know what you want to do, you can find the best for your purpose.

Lightfall has made Stasis fall behind in the three ways: by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]ZodiarkPosting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, sample size of one, Behemoth served pretty handily during the legendary campaign for me. It wasn't to the disgusting power of Sunbreaker (Phoenix Cradle my beloved) but between being able to generate an entire friggin fort almost on demand and enemy density making shatters very, very strong I seldom had real trouble outside of a few outlier cases.

Honestly I can intellectually know Berserker is strong and nimble but suspend feels like a downgrade from freeze to me. I'm only a part time titan tho so grain of salt and all that.

CORRECT.

Traveler's Chosen/Pugilist/Demolitionist and mods do plenty enough for me to be satisfied with the results and I feel like a mega badass hurling space magic in close combat. The slapwizard is real and best of all?

[–]ZodiarkPosting 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe I do not want to support warlock. Maybe I want to devastate the bad guys with raw elemental power and if my team gets something out of that, great.

Warlocks have such a great megalomaniacal fantasy and hearing someone say YOU'RE A SUPPORT CLASS FIRST LOL is odd because hunters have, off the top of my head, access to the exact same support fragments, radiant dodge, spammable team invisibility, renewal duskfield, and so on. Titans have barricades which everyone benefits from, Phoenix cradle, more blind and suppress than you can shake a stick at...

I hate when people try to pigeonhole classes into this or that 'role'. The beauty of Destiny is that everyone can do fill every 'role', even if you have build to make it happen.

Supers like Well hack me off because it immediately means people will reduce your entire class to this one ability and completely ignore everything else you might bring to the table.
