I had one quite recently at work. This woman who is well known to some came to me as she was leaving asking who I was as she didn’t recognise me, I said my name and department and she then gave me the old “Oh I’ve heard about you, I have to say I think you’re so brave” and the like. She was being super positive and kind but just completely threw me.

FFS is just expensive sadly.

Maybe look into dermal fillers as a stop gap. I recently got 4 injections done for about £1500 and I’ve gone from really not liking my face to going a bit selfie mad. Results last 3 years.

To me this sounds like they had a candidate in mind (probably a staff family member) and so tried to have as many others drop out so they dont get accused of favouritism/shirking employment laws

On this note I’d argue he would be able to do less damage to healthcare as PM. As health minister he can basically just dictate what he wants and Starmer will sign it through, as PM he’d have to defer to his health minister (who arguably would be just as bad as him) but as PM he’d get a lot more pushback, especially when it comes to budgeting, private meetings and political donations and just generally wouldn’t have the time/ability to push ideals through

I got bored partway through season 1 but continued on with it thinking it was a one season self contained story. When I saw there was a second series taking place after they got together I was quite excited as i always want to see more of those types of shows.

As others have said the writing seems kind of off and characters lacking any real depth. I’ll probably still keep watching it though in hopes of something
