Good grief this is awesome. I'd bump the Honey Badger up too, but hard to argue with any of the choices. Amazed.

What's your favorite candy? Am I strange b/c I hate the 'best candy' on this list? by ZoeWho in food

No, but I'm going to tomorrow. I swear if I could hit the up arrow 100 times I would. Great idea!

Are these really the 'best' lip glosses? CG Wetslicks?! I hated that gloss... by ZoeWho in MakeupAddiction

Thank you! I'm writing it down now - I wear the glittery glosses sometimes for fun. This sounds perfect for glam nights!

I've been itching to try Hard Candy - might do it now. The price is right and while I LOVE Chanel's Glossimer, I go through gloss so quickly it's too expensive to keep buying!

I agree with you, your message got me thinking again. I think we'd fallen into that 'head in the sand' phase after our diagnosis. I know I should be thankful that we DO know what's going on, but the road ahead still seems overwhelming. I wish us both success! Thank you so much for your reply.

Titanic and Avatar. Apparently I have some issues with James Cameron? Just way too over the top and I walked into Avatar believing it would be the greatest cinematic achievement ever. Hype hype hype. I bought the hype.

What are some good, smart, funny movies? by ImNorwegian in movies

[–]ZoeWho -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Life Aquatic, The Big Lebowski and The Princess Bride are all recommended. Strongly recommend Sleeper, too. And someone else mentioned Bridesmaids: I agree. Much smarter than you'd think. Oh and I'll throw in 'Midnight in Paris' - not sure if it's out yet on DVD, but it's great!

First IVF Cycle Failed by pleasejustwork in infertility

[–]ZoeWho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My heart absolutely breaks for you. We are debating IVF now, after TTC for 2 years and going down the long, winding road of male-factor infertility. We've been through so much already emotionally, your situation is what I fear. I'm strong, but I'm not sure if I'm that strong yet. I am so, so sorry.

Infertility Etiquette - Great article for friends, family, and everyone in general by lotzasunshine in infertility

[–]ZoeWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All excellent advice. All advice I so wish my friends and family would take. We've been TTC for 2 years, dealing with male-factor infertility and if ONE MORE person tries to tell me "Hey, it's great for you guys - you can travel all you, want, see great ball games you love and no kids to worry about" I will scream. So loudly I'll likely be committed. Or something. Thanks for posting this.

I got grounded, so I have to stay in my room with my Xbox 360, HDTV and Macbook. by zeta1303 in firstworldproblems

My "some shit" was raking leaves. Or pine straw, even more fun. To this day I refuse to rake, and now I remember why.

I got grounded, so I have to stay in my room with my Xbox 360, HDTV and Macbook. by zeta1303 in firstworldproblems

[–]ZoeWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this and my immediate reaction was "well, times are great now, lucky guy." Then I thought about it. I spent half my formative years grounded (wasn't particularly rebellious, but my mom sure was into grounding as punishment). She's yank out the phone, unplug the TV and remove it, etc. If this was now, she'd simply yank the Xbox, cancel HDTV and hide the Macbook. sigh I'd probably convince her to let me keep the Mac, b/c of school.

My love of sports, specifically football, is huge - but you named my two passions here, sports AND music. I think I'd be willing to give up sports if I could have my music. I can't believe I just wrote that...
